Carsonâs team has yet to produce corroborating emails to prove their allegations. It still remains possible, given that reports just past midnight might suggest Carson may well drop out.
Speculation abounded Monday night that GOP presidential hopeful Ben Carson might drop out of the race, after news broke that Carson was not sticking around in Iowa to wait out caucus results, nor heading directly to New Hampshire or South Carolina for the next primaries on the calendar.
The Carson campaign, now involved in another PR nightmare, had to dispel the rumors later today by blaming everyone but what the doctor ordered. His own supporters even complain about the campaignâs poor organization. And the cure to the political clap for Dr. Carsonâs doomed campaign should have been to amputate Mr. Williams Armstrong Williams from staff long ago. The death knell Williams dealt Dr. Carsonâs campaign occurred on January 22.

And if you note in this article...he does not mention Cruz...rather CNN .
If you really want to know, Ted apologized to Carson because he is a decent guy and a gentleman.
And Carson said apology not accepted. He’ll wipe the floor with Tricky Teddy at the debate tomorrow and we’ll see more seal clapping from Cruz as he is totally demolished.
Rubio performed much better than expected. What does that prove, other than the polls were unreliable.

Jan 22 is when a campaign worker died. “On Thursday, Carson returned to the campaign trail for the first time in days after a volunteer died in a car accident on Tuesday. Braden Joplin was a 25-year-old from Texas who had come to Iowa to volunteer for the Carson campaign. Two other volunteers and one campaign staffer were also injured in the accident. “ You Cruz supporters grasp at straws to absolve Ted Cruz Campaign follies. LOL . First you blamed it on media reports,. You know rhe lame stream media that you don’t trust has all of a sudden fooled the, Ted Cruz campaign juggernaut to pass out information to get people to infer Dr. Ben Carson is dropping out.
RE: Rubio performed much better than expected. What does that prove, other than the polls were unreliable.
It showed that he had MORE SUPPORT than the pollsters expected. Well, so did Carson. The poll averages UNDERESTIMATED Carson’s support.
The candidate (Carson) received between FIVE and TEN TIMES MORE VOTES than EIGHT of the 12 other candidates in the race. Trailing only the top three. In the first of many primaries. Obviously, this person would not announce he was quitting that night. It more than strains credulity. And Cruz and his dirty tricksters knew that. Even if you THOUGHT that, you’d confirm it before running with it, because it made no political sense, certainly not to seasoned politicians, parsing words like Clinton’s “Miss Lewinsky and I were never alone, I told the truth. There were people in Washington, in the hemisphere, and on the planet, so it’s not perjury to say we were never alone.”
And an hour later CNN clarified CARSON WAS NOT QUITTING THE RACE. 6:43 pm I believe. Cruz campaign NEVER mentioned that while continuing all night to falsely imply Carson was quitting.
Carson said apology not accepted and I’m sure he’ll sort out Cruz tomorrow at the debate. Cruzers, pack some hankies. Going to be a rough night tomorrow night.
RE: You Cruz supporters grasp at straws to absolve Ted Cruz Campaign follies. LOL .
There are no straws to grasp, only the evidence.
The evidence is this — CNN started the news, the news was misleading and gave the impression that Carson was not serious in campaigning in New Hampshire and South Carolina.
YOU are grasping at straws trying to portray Cruz as an evil person.
Yep. That’s where the problem started.
And Carson may have had more than 9% support before the false instructions to the Carson faithful. 11-13% is not outside of the range of possibility.
You mean the Lame stream media we’re not to trust? Now it’s truthful?

Because in the BROADER NEWS FROM CNN at 6:44, CNN Breaks the Story on TV:
(Did you hear any follow-up on the air about the Chris Moody tweet that Carson was going to stay in the race? No. In fact, I was watching the screen crawl on CNN while Tapper and Bash were talking and it said Carson was going to take a break after Iowa.
These TV reporters are the ones who didn’t even mention their own tweet.
I asked this before and I’ll ask this again -— WHY is Cruz responsible for the integrity of CNNâs own reporting than CNN is? And who has more VIEWERS at CNN, Tapper and Bash or Moody? I say Tapper and Bash)
*6:50 CNN The Lead tweets out the Story:
https://twitter.com/theleadcnn/status/694321966677938177
(Seven minutes after Moody’s clarifying tweet and still no follow through from CNN. This is now the second time they have put out the first part of Moody’s tweet about Carson but not the second.
WHY IS IT CRUZ’s responsibility to check Moody’s tweets?
*6:52 CNNPolitics tweets out the story
https://twitter.com/cnnpolitics/status/694322494262644736
Now we are almost 10 minutes after the Moody tweets, and this account has almost a half million followers. They are still staying Ben Carson plans to take a break from campaigning. This Twitter page has more than 10 times the followers of Chris Moody.
No wonder people will get the impression that something unusual is going on with Carson.
CNN failed to tell people about Moody’s tweets.
RE: You mean the Lame stream media we’re not to trust? Now it’s truthful?
I said this before and I’ll say this again — The ONUS is on the voter to check ANY news about the candidate he intends to vote for.
RE: 11-13% is not outside of the range of possibility.
Those are speculations. I cannot comment on it unless an intense study is made of the Iowa caucus’ voters.
All we know is this — Carson’s RCP poll average in Iowa was 7.7%. He ended up with 9%.
OMG thank you!
I thought it was just me... And perhaps the wine.
You are speculating, as am I. The polls were wrong. Neither you nor I can use them as a baseline.
It defies logic to fly to Florida on the eve of the vote to get some “clothes”. Why did his campaign people say anything at all about it? And if they are going to say something, say something that is clear and at least makes some sense so people don’t speculate.
Once you start doing things that don’t make sense, assumptions are made to try to make it make sense.
Carson’s actions are the direct cause of what happened.
