President Barack Obama, when he leaves office in less than a year, will no doubt choose to believe that his legacy will consist of deliberate accomplishments, such as Obamacare, efforts to fight climate change, and the Iran nuclear weapons deal. However, the Washington Post recently suggested that Obamaâs main legacy will be making more Republican voters. The implications will be far reaching for the course of American politics for decades to come.

Obama and his DNC and complicit GOP brought
back slavery, incurable diseases, crucifixion on the streets,
the Arab Springs, Iran nukes, and death of American
medicine. The evil they wrought will last centuries.
I wouldn’t be so sure about any Republican dominance. There is no difference between Democrats and the GOPe. Half of the voters now vote for handouts. And don’t forget that the libs know how to steal elections.
The generation of Republican dominance after Jimmah Carter lasted but half that. It ended when another accomplished liar, Clinton, entered the race. It takes accomplished leaders on our side to achieve dominance.
Don’t bet on it. The GOP is determined to do the bidding of The Cheap Labor Express.
If they continue to thwart the will of the people they will go the way of the Whigs.
“Barack Obama’s political legacy will be Republican dominance for a generation”........
Not unless we can find some “real” candidates for POTUS, the ones currently running are not made of the cloth necessary to hold onto the reigns for general dominance for the long haul.
Nope, not ‘Pub dominance, let alone conservative dominance. The GOP has produced only two conservative presidents in its 162 year history, Calvin Coolidge and Ronald Reagan, and even Silent Cal’s tenure was by chance. Gonna take a political revolution to bring about the kind of era envisioned, and the ‘RATS and RINOs are not part of it.
*Abraham Lincoln was a great president, but he wasn’t what we today consider a conservative.
What good is it with the likes of Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham in the Republican Party?
Don’t count on it.
The GOPe will find a way to let the dems win.
I pray that this is true, and that a generation will be enough time to dismantle every evil aspect of his legacy (meaning his entire legacy).
It would be great if the Democratic party went full retard and ended up like the Labor Party in the UK.
The sad thing is, we won’t see any difference.
Let us pray he is right. No more Dems.
Nope. While Obama was doing HIS thing and showing HIS stripes, our beloved Republican Party were doing the same thing.
We KNEW Obama was a snake; he’s a democrat after all...
But we’ve watched our Republicans lie to our faces, JOIN the democrats - AGAINST US and then belittle us in the media about it.
SCREW THEM.
If obama's legacy is for the democrats to be out of power for a generation there may be hope for this country yet.
I’ve never understood this ‘perfect POTUS’ = solution idea; especially coming from those that (supposedly) know the Constitution.
Lastly, even a swath of ‘Conservative’ members of Congress can’t turn back time, if they too don’t adhere to the Constitution by voting their constitutes wishes.
Since I first voted, I might be able to count on two hands what a full (R) D.C. has done to shrink govt...if I don’t count the reversals of the same for the years in-between (or outright Exec. edicts).
There is nothing, NOTHING, that govt will VOLUNTARILY give-up to diminish their strangle-hold on power, Constitution and the People be damned.
From his keyboard to God’s ears.
Republicans don’t want to dominate. They would be thrilled to have President Hillary so long as they keep Congressional committees. American government is all about access to a trillion-dollar slush fund. There’s plenty to go around, and the Sheeple are content to remain ignorant of it all. Look at how quickly that man’s murder in Oregon was forgotten by everyone. We are lost. Trump is imploding, and a year from now another Clinton will start drawing up names for SCOTUS.
Pray that it is so.
