Accusing Senator Ted Cruz of voter fraud, Donald Trump today argued that Mr. Cruz "stole" the election in Iowa.
"That is why all of the polls were so wrong, and why he got far more votes than anticipated," Mr. Trump said on Twitter, suggesting no one predicted that Mr. Cruz would win:

Mr. Trump then went further, saying Mr. Cruz committed fraud, suggesting that Cruz's campaign suggesting that Ben Carson would drop out amounted to fraud, as did his campaign's mailers about "voting violations:"

Trump has tons of free publicity from the press compared to any other candidate.
Admittedly this DID happen - Cruz even made a "better to ask forgiveness than permission" type apology for it.
How much of an impact it truly had on the results, we'll never know.

Trump has learned nothing from his Iowa beating.
Carson went into the caucuses polling no higher than 10% (real clear politics). He ended up with 9.3%.
Show me an alternative result where Cruz's teams mistake changed anything.
It also explains why Cruz has been so loathe to attack DT: divvying up his support which looks like it will split evenly between Cruz and Rubio, thanks to the Anybody But Cruz contingent DT has constructed. Hope everybody enjoys LITERAL Mob rule with Marco.

Where were Trump's people -- why weren't they complaining right there? Because they thought it was true, too! It was coming from CNN.
Rubio's people used it, too. Trump's not going after Rubio.
