I just watched both episodes and thought they were great. The entire original series was about the govt. covering up the existence of alien visitations and abductions and now Mulder and Scully discover that was the fake scenario all along and it was used to cover up what our own govt. was actually doing.............Great turn around!

Mulder had a great line when he finally met up with Skinner for the first time in years. Something to the effect of using fiction to cover up the facts.........

I missed Agent Skinner. I’ve seen him in a few other things since X-File, but he was just Agent Skinner pretending to be someone else.
