Jim Abrahams and David Zucker, top Hollywood producers and directors who got their start with the hilarious 1980s movie "Airplane," announced tonight in Los Angeles that they were in advanced preparations to begin to film a new motion picture about the life of real estate mogul and Republican candidate Donald Trump.
"We expected it to be a real challenge" Abrans said, "but it's really going to be much easier than anyone thought.
"We were worried about getting up to the minute video, with Trump changing his mind so often," said Zucker, "but in the end, we found a way to make this sure to be a blockbuster hit very easily. We're simply going to take an old print of the famous movie "Elmer Gantry" and digitally replace Burt Lancaster's face with Trump's It's going to be very easy. In fact, in most scenes. We don't even have to replace Burt's hair do with Trump's, just lighten it a bit."
"Think about it," said Zucker. It's the same con 50 years later, and we won't even have to change one word of the script!"
That’s all right, Ken. I speak Jive.
Airplane, Blazing Saddles, History of the World Part 1, probably even young frankenstein, name a great 60s-80s comedy that could be made today....
The satire would make sense about Cruz, who appeals to religion. I think they got confused. The author should have said “Face in the Crowd” with Andy Griffith, not Burt Lancaster, for Trump.
His hairdo? It’s that thing he wears on top of his head - but that’s not important now.....
Airplane! could not be made today.

SURELY you don’t mean that!
I was addressing Trump’s attitude of “Promise the rube’s anything. Some will believe it.”
