You have to scan it to a thumbdrive or disc, then put that information onto a non-secure computer in order to email it. There is an ‘air gap’.

I have already stated that on a secure computer, there is no working USB or writable disk. This is elementary security that is widely implemented, not just in the government but at most banks and brokerages.

At the bank where I worked, you couldn’t even play a music CD on the CD drive of your laptop.

Couldn’t you manually take a digital pic of the document on the monitor and then load that pic onto your unsecured computer?

Or you can copy it by pencil onto a piece of paper, and later type those contents onto a non-secure system.
