Angry Fishing tends to be hard on your Equipment
We see a lot of fishing videos, many of them are boring. When this video came across my screen I pretty much laughed out loud and made everyone around me have to watch it with me, over and over again. I have been a victim to angry fishing more than once, and these guys take it the extreme.
As you are about to see, angry fishing is a real thing. Unfortunately, the only real victims are the rods and reels.
When I first started learning how to use a bait caster, I was very close to doing what that kid did in the video as well. As far as breaking my rod in half goes, have you ever tried to fly fish? It's still that way.
I think we all can agree that fishing is supposed to be fun, but that letdown when things just don't work out is pretty darn overwhelming, see this hilarious video here.
A couple of days ago a girl told me about a guy she talked to that was bandaged up.
She asked him what happed and he told her he was shark fishing and the shark pulled him out of the boat.

Only time I’ve ever really been “angry” fishing was in the Smoky Mtns...Trout fishing in a stream when about 10 “tubers” come floating down, kicking, yelling, splashing to all get out...The trout were darting, scrambling everywhere, scared to death...
One “tuber” asked me, “Having any luck?”
I said, “Well, I was.....until y’all came along.....”
He gave me a bewildered look and floated on off....
That dude needs to watch 'Bill Dance Outdoors' to learn how to deal with adversity.
As my Dad told me years ago, It’s a poor carpenter [or Mechanic,Hunter, electrician, Cook, etc.] who blames his tools.
Athletes also, slamming helmets, bats, tennis racquets etc............ very childish.
Bill Dance Bloopers are hilarious!!!!
Serenity now...........insanity later. :>)
Are M-16’s considered anger?
When I get angry I send more lead downrange.
I spend too much time and effort restoring the split cane fishing rods and antique reels that I use to abuse them. Equipment success and failure is part of the sport. The newest rod and reel combination I use is over fifty years old. Anger and frustration are things for me at work. Everything about fishing is pleasant.
