The news just announced that a Uniformed County Sheriff was kicked out of that rally because he was carrying his gun. Secret Service told him it was against Federal Law.
The Sheriff was stunned, said he came because Trump had said all policemen, etc. would be treated fairly.
It is my understanding that all officers, uniformed or not MUST carry their weapons at all times.
