1. Ethanol subsidies are a pretty minor thing when it comes to all of the ills we face. Also, remember that Trump thinks outside the box (his campaign has proven that). I am sure that he is concerned about the financial hit Iowa would take over-all without the subsidies but I would bet that he would leave the subsidies only until he could find another way to replace the income to the area.

Jerry Falwell Jr introduced Trump at the Rally at Liberty U yesterday and told a story about Trump. He said that Trump heard on the news or 60 Minutes that a company in Iowa was moving to Mexico and it devastated the town.

Trump got on the phone with other companies and made arrangements for those companies to start buying from the other small businesses in that town.
I don’t remember all of the details but I believe he repeated the story on Hannity last night. Maybe there is a video of it.

2. I think Trump would handle the Supreme court appointments the way he handles his business. His children say he discusses everything with the group working on a project, they all have input and he listens, then a decision is made. So I think he would have a search team work on it and then they as a group would have input, and then decide.

He has already called on Jeff Sessions for his immigration plan and economists for his tax plan so he would surely call on experts for advise on Supreme Court appointments.

3. As far as Bob Dole is concerned I wouldn’t worry about anything he has to say. He might be trying to start something between Trump and Cruz, he might think if they take Cruz out his votes would go to Jeb or Rubio, or he might just be thinking they had better get on the train before they get run over.

Trump will handle them the same way he handled Nikki Haley trashing him. He isn’t going to insult her. He is going to have a friendly relationship with her but they both know he won’t forget and she won’t be invited to the White House often.
