Donald Trump has been trying to burnish his conservative credentials in his recent attacks on other Republican candidates. Despite his normal attacks on Lindsey Graham and Jeb Bush, he has now taken to attacking Ted Cruz, calling him an "ultimate hypocrite" and implying that he is ineligible to run for the Presidency.
Now it is revealed that Trump attacked current Kentucky Governor and former Senate candidate Matt Bevin. Before Bevin's victory last November he attempted to unseat Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in the 2014 Senate primary.

Wow. McConnell of all people?

Where’s the proof of this? I want to see the link that says this, and not this one...could be another Cruz hit piece on Trump just like the last one....

It's all part of
The Donalds® super secret strategy, doncha know?
McConnell has always been opposed to the GOP-e. (And Oceania has always been at war with Eurasia.)
No yesterdays with The Rump.
Get with the program.

The link to the FEC page is right there. No wonder McConnell has Trump’s back on the birther nonsense.

Liberal Donald Trump wanted Mitch McConnell, the man who has publicly waged war on the TEA Party, to be the "speaker" of the senate.

Lots of negative information out about Blevins. His win as governor was choosing the best of two evils. Kentucky politics have been a mess for years

But didn’t he say he “loves TEA Party people”? Sure has an odd way of showing it when he funds Democrats and GOPe fossils such as McConnell.
He’s looking a lot like Hillary, who tailors a message to her audience, whether it’s true or not.
To: South40
Oh holy crap, that’s funny.
You would think this would have more legs than the Cuomo/DiBlasio donations, as FReepers hate Mitch more than any of them. I’ve got a feeling, though, that they can rationalize this one too - what hardcore Trumpistas lack in intelligence they more than make up for in delusion.

If it’s proven true that Trump backed the turtle McConnell (and it appears it is from the FEC filing) will it change your position on Trump?
To: therightliveswithus
Dude, that was like 2 years ago!
Don't you know you can never bring up anything against the Donald that is more than a week old?

You gotta wonder what it would take for some people to change their mind. I was pro trump but became convinced at the end of the day, he'll do a deal with the GOPE and all will business as usual.
Most likely nothing will change the mind of most of the trumpsters....

Now it is revealed that Trump attacked current Kentucky Governor and former Senate candidate Matt Bevin .... and supported Mitch McConnell ?
Donald Trump supported Mitch McConnell (the GOPe traitor) over Matt Bevin (to whom I contributed to from far-away Florida) ?
I pray that this allegation is simply untrue.
If true, I might be done with the Donald.

Oh holy crap, that's funny. The average 9th grade civics student knows the speaker is in the House and not the Senate.
Liberal Donald Trump in his 60s didn't.

Rationalize... that's easy..... Trump was a business man who made a lifetime career out of bribing politicians. It's what upstanding business people do you know.... well at least the successful ones worth 8 billion dollars.
