Trump Gave $50k to McConnell to Defeat Tea Partier Bevin
The Pundit Press ^ | 1/17/2016 | Thomas

Donald Trump has been trying to burnish his conservative credentials in his recent attacks on other Republican candidates. Despite his normal attacks on Lindsey Graham and Jeb Bush, he has now taken to attacking Ted Cruz, calling him an "ultimate hypocrite" and implying that he is ineligible to run for the Presidency.

Now it is revealed that Trump attacked current Kentucky Governor and former Senate candidate Matt Bevin. Before Bevin's victory last November he attempted to unseat Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in the 2014 Senate primary.

Oh sheese, you people are all losers. Mac was known as a Tea Party hater long, long before that Bevin candidacy. You really reach down deep in the cesspool for excuses and justification.

you don’t want truth, let alone proof. You’ve been avoiding it like the plague since May.

If he gave Mitch the money, I would think he played the Odds to keep a Republican in that Seat. How many here said they would Vote for the DemoncRat over Mitch? Yes, I can’t stand Mitch but I viscerally hate DemoncRats, every one.

To be frank, Cruz or Trump would be fine with me, but the reality is that Trump would probably get many more cross over Votes than Cruz could or would.

Over the past few days that reality is starting to hit me, especially if 25% of Republicans already think Cruz isn’t qualified under the Constitution. I’m saying that as a Cruz first kind of guy.

If the Electorate was composed entirely of Conservatives, Cruz is the Man, but it isn’t and people had better wake up to that fact. It’s disheartening, but it is what it is.

In this day and age, I doubt Reagan could get Elected POTUS and it pains me to even think that way.

... Where’s the proof of this? I want to see the link that says this, and not this one...could be another Cruz hit piece on Trump just like the last one....
We know nothing DT has ever done or said does not matter to you. To the majority of conservatives it does.
I am not surprised, he donated $25,000 to McCauliff against CUCINELLI.
This is just another little piece that exposes DT for the fraud he is.
So, it was not posted for you hardcore trumpees. You have made it expressly clear that you enjoy him humiliating others including disabled, care nothing about his past or recent pass positions, that he immediately changed his deport them all to “and fast track them back in”, that he doesn’t even know basic civics and on and on and on.
The fact that you trust him now spells koolaid to me.

I just love how the Cruz supporters never like to talk about Ted’s support for TPA and H1B Visas.

Trump’s positions have always been as a PRIVATE CITIZEN; Cruz supported TPA and H1B Visas as a sitting U.S. Senator.

One set of rules standards for Cruz; another set of standards for Trump. Pathetic!

>>>he donated $25,000 to McCauliff against CUCINELLI<<<

Valid point and I hope he is asked that question at some point. Also note that if the Libertarian didn’t Run, Terry the Punk wouldn’t have won the Governorship.

I’ll continue to blame the Libertarian Candidate for Terry’s Win though. Trump’s Contribution didn’t do it, but it helped.

Cucinelli lost because the State GOP stabbed him in the back. The Party took money raised in the Commonwealth specifically for Cucinelli's election and sent that money to Chris Christie in New Jersey.

The worst part of all was their betrayal of Mark Obenshain who actually won the AG race. The Dems challenged the election results, and the State GOP did absolutely nothing to stop them. After watching that, I am convinced that the Virginia GOP is working for the Democrats.
