According to Hankey, a Marita Lorenzto attended a meeting the day before the assassination in which Howard Hunt (the person Nixon had running the Watergate break in) "handed out money and maps to groups of men". So Howard Hunt would have been the man on the ground coordinated/running the operation personally.
Arsonists can't help themselves from watching the flames. Murderers tend to go back to the scene. It may not make sense, but they can't resist the pull. I've seen this Bush thing batted around for some time.

Knowing how fxxxed up people operating plots can be he might have wanted to be close to the action. After all, who made sure that Jack Ruby killed Oswald. It makes perfect sense to me.
Other questions: Did Colby die in a boat accident, or was he killed, perhaps even by Bush, and what did he know that was not safe to have out there? What exactly was the directorship of the CIA doing while the Benghazi disaster was in process and why?
