Meanwhile Ted Cruz actually clerked for Chief Justice William Rehnquist who had impeccable conservative credentials. I would trust Ted Cruz with a Supreme Court nomination than anyone else.

The next sentence you conveniently left out...the fact that he went on to say that she doesn't have the slightest interest in the job.
