May his Memory be Eternal.
So he had just learned he had cancer on the 26th and died two days later?
I think Lemmy would appreciate the following...If they cremate him there'll be a 5k blast radius!
They’ll probably reserve a booth for him at the Rainbow anyway. RIP

He lived pretty much right across the street from the Rainbow, on Harratt Street. Met him briefly at the end of 2009. They were just off tour and Lemmy was home in L.A. to celebrate his birthday so my buddy Paul and I swung by to bring him a bottle of absinthe for a b-day/Christmas present. He greeted us at the door and had a pretty bad cold (or flu or something) so we kept it really brief, gave him his present, wished him well, shook his hand and left so he could get back to resting and relaxing.
One of the few bands that were themselves. Lemmy was an original.
One of my favorite lines of his, “Stop, stop, stop, don’t try to dance to this, it’ll f*** you up.”
Right on — that’s fantastic. Seems like he was a cool dude.....easy going, easy to talk to. Pretty awesome you brought him a bday pres.
Saw them on their Bomber tour in the early 80s. Best metal band ever (sorry Metallica). Ironic Lemmy died a month after Phil the Animal. RIP both.
