But something is different this time around —
Obviously the Democrats would like to keep Obama in beyond his allotted time.
And this time, the GOP (the *cough* “opposition party”) would love to find a way to keep Trump out of the White House.
Bottomline: if both major political parties want the election to be suspended, I think it will be suspended. No Civil War would erupt because there would not be two sides to that argument.
But perhaps grassroots rebellion would be likely.
I believe a large amount of civil disobedience would be the result. I would probably get a Harley, grow my hair long and change my name to “Snake”.
