I agree that the lines of division are not clearly defined, but guns are being sold at record numbers and ammunition delivered by the palate load to be bought faster than it can be produced. This is a society preparing for war. For what and against whom, I cannot say, but no one should look forward to what’s coming. “War is cruelty and you cannot refine it” remains as true today as when General Sherman said it at the gates of Atlanta more than 150 years ago.

My sister was brainwashed by her husband who is a huge liberal. She thinks people are racists if they don’t like Obama & she feels bad that people treat him so badly...

Republican Party needs to go—a neo-Republican party is needed. More robust, more ready to fight.
Lobbiests need to be outlawed—money corrupts.
And a new Tea Party—this time armed—Sons of Liberty.
New Media needs to start—newspapers that speak the will of the people not the Communist Party (No Journalists from Commie Liberal Colleges) A new News Network—OANN is a start. The Blaze was a start (until Becks ego mucked it up). We need a Conservative Hollywood with pictures that show Soldiers as Heroes, Great Americans, The films Disney once made. Heroes not flawed nut cases—but real Americans who gave it all up for freedom. Washington needs to be cleaned up—cut the crime! I bet you have some ideas too.

"How many pictures of those TEA Party rallies you remember with the blue/grey hairs’ signs of “Don’t touch *my* mediXYZ/SS/etc.”?? They match RIGHT up w/ the carpel-thumb-syndrome generation re: “’FREE’ education/grants”."

With all due respect to mom & pop, please consider this. As a consequence of the parents of many patriots not making sure that their now grown-up children were taught about the federal governments constitutional limited powers, such patriots do not understand the following.

Note that there has never been stopping the states from individually exercising their 10th Amendment-powers to start their own social spending programs.

In fact, a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting justices had clarified that Congress cannot appropriate taxes in the name of state power issues, the programs that you mentioned for example, essentially any issue that Congress cannot justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers.

”Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” - Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Also, if the states think that the feds can do a better job running social spending programs better then the states can (AHEM!), there has likewise never been anything stopping the states from amending the Constitution to grant the feds the specific powers to do so.

In fact, if Constitution-ignoring FDR and his corrupt Congress had successfully petitioned the states for amendments to the Constitution which granted the feds the specific powers that he needed to start his ”New Deal” federal spending programs, when we probably would not be having this discussion.

I think that there are still enough that worship him to re-elect him again.

I respectively have to disagree with you there.

There are two current amendments (one of which is, IMO, void as it was passed under duress) that forbids the States from beginning their own social programs: The 5th and the 13th.

Govt, regardless of how ‘close’ to the Citizen it might be, it NOT an instrument of charity. It has neither the capacity to determine, let alone the authority to administer.

It is, and always will be, labeled appropriately, LONG before any of us were a gleam in our daddies eye: legalized THEFT.

A secession of many States would be better and more workable.

My point exactly, it may not be long before those obligations are not going to be met due to the system crashing. This new omnibus spending bill may prove to be the catalyst that starts that ball rolling. Inflation starts, purchasing slows to essentials only, jobs are lost as a result, and the system begins to caves in on itself.

OAN News Network

Never heard of them before. I'll check them out.

As for the items you listed, that will take decades to accomplish. Because the communists have been brainwashing and dumbing down the American children for several decades now.

One of the reasons I support Trump is I am hoping he will have the ability to dismantle the elitists now controlling the Republican Party. I have my concerns about Trump for sure, but I see no other way of removing the elitists who now control the Republican Party. Who are no different than their Democratic elitists controlling that party.

I'm looking for a bloodless solution.

Just not gonna happen. The crash of 2008 highlighted what the fed was willing to do to stay afloat. It was recently revealed that the feds had contingency plans that had contingency plans that were never even used, but were there in the event of a total crash. They WON'T allow themselves to live in a mad max environment of economic collapse. We have been hearing for YEARS how unsustainable the debt is, and yes, every bit of economic wisdom says we should have had total collapse long, long ago, and we all keep waiting for it, but it never comes. I have a suspicion it's going to take one helluva lot more to collapse the economic system.

I’m sorry, but is there much from 1980’s still around?

Setting aside 1980 for a moment, what about 2000-2006, when we had control of the House, Senate, AND White House, and what do we have to show for that? The un-Patriot Act, "bipartisanship" and the beginning of "too big to fail"/bailout policy that was continued under odumbo. Thanks, Republicrats!

You forgot TARP, TSA, DHS, NSA, NCLB, MediXYZ expansion....

Yep. And thanks to us pesky (L), both of ‘em, y’know?, it’s gotten worse EVERY time /s

I wonder whom the usual will blame THIS go ‘round while spouting the typical “You’ll be voting for a DEM, or worse, a (L), if you don’t pull the (R) lever”.
