There are any number of liberal organizations that have fractured the rules of civility in order to advance the socialist agenda. Of these Obama aligned, leftist groups, none is more perverse in its grotesque slanders and misleading claims than the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
The SPLC was founded in 1971 by Morris Dees, Julian Bond and Joseph Levin. According to his law partner Millard Fuller, Dees’ only interest was to make money, a lot of it, and he didn’t care how. As cases in point, in 1958 Dees served as the state campaign manager for McDonald Gallion, a segregationist running for attorney general in Alabama. In 1961, members of the Freedom Riders suffered a brutal beating in Montgomery and when one of the men charged came to the Dees/Fuller office for representation, they happily took the case. The White Citizens Council and KKK financed the legal fees.
In short, Dees—who began the SPLC with the purpose of providing legal representation for mistreated blacks—was eager to take money and court publicity whenever an opportunity presented itself. The particular side of an argument Dees represented was of little concern.
Here are some examples of Morris Dees’ history with the SPLC:
In 1975, Dees was removed from a court of law for trying to bribe a witness in the Joan Little case. The charges were later dropped, but the presiding judge refused to let Dees back into his court. This was one of the first cases involving the Alliance against Racist and Political Repression, a communist group intent on turning the trial into a political movement rather than a legal one.
By 1988, Dees was mailing appeals for donations to almost half a million Americans. The "non-profit" SPLC was a left of center group that raised more than...

The SPLC is nothing more than a giant fundraising scam allowing Morris Dees, Mark Potok, and a handful of others to live in luxury.
