More U.S. residents applied to purchase handguns, rifles and other firearms from licensed dealers on Black Friday than any other day on record, according to Federal Bureau of Investigation data released this week.
Black Friday, the day after the U.S. Thanksgiving Day holiday, is the traditional start of the U.S. holiday shopping season, with sharp retail discounts on merchandise.

Two years ago, I bought my Wife a Springfield XDs .45 for her CCW, and was talked into a lever action Rossi Rio Grande 45-70. Used the same 4473 for both.

I don’t shoot the Rossi much. It was having feeding issues, and the ammo’s pricey.
But it sure is purdy!

Coach guns are shorter, often used in "cowboy action shooting competitions".
Many of their shotguns are reasonably priced, and I think have a pretty decent reputation. Not top shelf but good for the price.
I love my Stoeger P-350 Defense Pump Shotgun with pistol grip.
So sad that I lost it in a tragic boating accident...

Yea, now that Lurker/you bring them up, I’ve definitely heard of them before. But yea, $5-600 for a side-by-side is definitely a decent price, especially when most of what you can easily find is a couple thousand
