JUST SAW AN UPDATE POSTED A FEW MINUTES AGO.

Do not send money to save the dog!

“An online fundraising effort has been suspended after purportedly being launched for a sick, stray dog in Georgia who was formerly a member of a law-enforcement agency.

A message on the Fundrazr website on Friday stated that the campaign, which was said to be for a retired K-9 named Master Blaster, was “paused” and “not currently accepting contributions.”

No explanation was given, but a commenter on the page described the fundraiser as a “ploy to get money” and a “scam.”

Before the campaign was put on hold, $2,835 was collected, exceeding the stated goal of $1,500, according to the website.”

The update did not state whether this story is accurate or not.

I can believe it’s a scam. Trained police dogs are expensive. I can’t believe one would be retired and abandoned at the age of six.
