Elections Rush Limbaugh: âCompared To Reagan, Trump Is Not A Conservativeâ [VIDEO] Photo of Steve Guest Steve Guest Media Reporter 3:59 PM 11/24/2015 981
Radio host Rush Limbaugh said Tuesday that Donald Trump is ânot a conservativeâ when compared with former President Ronald Reagan.
Limbaugh explained, that âcompared to Reagan, Trump is not a conservative, and the bulk of Trumpâs support is not the Republican base.â
âAs we mentioned yesterday, if you look at the demographics, at least as expressed polling data, the bulk of Trump support is what we all have been led to believe the Republican Party wants: blue-collar people, moderates and independents,â suggested Limbaugh. âI mean thereâs the fact that they donât control Trump, and the real thing is they donât have any money invested, and as such they have no say-so over what he does at all.â

If you want to beat the Democrats, rally to Trump, not tear him down.
Else tell me how any of the other remaining candidates win? You eliminate Trump, you are left with Bush, Rubio, and Christi vs. Cruz vs. a lot of even worse polling people. Sorry, in that mix, I bet amnesty-loving Rubio wins.
So, is Trump conservative enough on the important issues? YES. Tell me which issue he is not conservative enough and how that single issue is worth throwing the election away?
And they’re still being killed by paleostians.
I realize you aren’t terribly bright but perhaps you’ve missed the news in recent years.
.
a lot FEWER Israelies are being killed, because of that wall ...
walls work ...
just ask the folks in Berlin and China ...
and the North Koreans (DMZ)
and the White House at 1600 Pennslyvania Avenue (apologies for spelling errors) ...
.
If you are for Cruz it's ok to be so. Just don't use stupid arguments to support a candidate, it makes you look well, crippled cognitively speaking and makes Cruz look bad.
Rush needs to retire.
Trump puts America first. That is the biggest issue with me.
As far as “conservative” goes. They are all corrupt to the core. Conservative, liberal, moderate, etc. Money controls both the process and the results as it is trying to do now.
So take the litmus test and shove it up your *ss. Vote for the one guy who is not beholden to the Super PAC’s. As a matter of fact, he is about to go to war with them.
I don't think in the 'big' scheme of things Rush really cares about borders, illegal immigration, H-1B, off shoring, de industrialization and gloBULLism in general. These things do not bother a libertarian, like Rush.
I would argue that a strong nationalist/populist is closer to conservatism than a libertarian.
A wall keeps them out regardless of what a future administration will or will not do.
Boy do I disagree. For one thing he has to bring congress with him. You think congress doesn’t like Cruz?
Cruz is the man who is what he is yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Trump lost me, I figure he will lose a lot more. I am so sick of hearing him whine. He may be worse than Bambi.
“...started bringing up Kellys body functions.”
That assertion, or snark, can always be used to accurately tag where someone in coming from.
OMG. Speechless here.
-— Rush is right of course but Trump MAY be the only candidate able to get us going in the right direction. -—
True, but why not go with a sure thing, like Cruz?
Cruz is back peddling on H-1B and legal immigration. He is now against trade agreements before he was for them.
Where were the Republicans to stop this?
-— Personally I donât want even more money collected for anything. I want unconstitutional spending on agencies, subsidies, projects, etc defunded and the money appropriated from the savings to fund real border security. -—
I haven’t heard Trump talk about eliminating entire federal agencies and he often talks about managing federal agencies better.
This is extremely naive and represents an inability to distinguish the difference between managing a private corporation and managing a government agency.
There is a part of Trump that wants to make the trains run on time. Like Cruz, I want the trains sold or run by the private sector.
He writes children's books about the American revolution and the founding fathers but omits a few things like the ALL founding fathers were staunch protectionist, some isolationists and all were against free trade and for tariffs. How can you leave that out?
