Unbelievable.

Just as my health insurance is NONE of the feds constitutional business, so what I eat is also NONE of the feds constitutional business.

How I hate the FDA, the FCC, the HHS, and the rest of the unconstitutional portion of the federal government.

It’s LEGAL to eat paste in the US.

If it’s better than that pale farm grown crap we get here...I am down for it.

Yes, and it’s so good for you that it’s important that it never be labeled as such. We wouldn’t want Mr. and Mrs. consumer to get the idea that they can make their own decisions about what to eat, now. Eat up, children.

Uh, I think it’s always been legal to eat. Just not legal to sell until recently.

As long as it doesn’t make them smarter. We’ve got salmon pens near our place and when the sea lions manage to open up a hole we get these fish swimming right up to the boat ramp expecting lunch. What they get is a net.

I don’t have a problem with FrankenFoods, just so long as they are labeled as such. I would also appreciate the label indicate the country of origin, for obvious reasons.

What a dumb headline.

It's always been legal to eat; you just couldn't sell it.

"The fish grows twice as fast as normal salmon, so it reaches market size more quickly. It has an added growth hormone from the Pacific Chinook salmon that allows the fish to produce growth hormone all year long."

What effect would this growth hormone have on humans? Will people grow to be 8 feet tall? (I'll be looking forward to seeing warning labels on these salmon "do not consume while pregnant").

How do we know for sure the type of hormone they inject?

Why make a healthy food fake?

Or Frankenfish, as it’s known in Alaska.
