I said nobody has to. I do it because it sends a stronger message. I am not afraid of the government or anybody. If I have to die or go to jail for defending myself or my neighbor, I do not care. In comparing the brazenness of federal fascists and religious extremists to your reluctance to display any evidence of an ability to defend yourself is disappointing.
That sounds like someone who is not thinking clearly. Wouldn't it be better, for instance, to continue as a living, free man after you defended yourself or your neighbor? Why would anyone who is thinking clearly say that they didn't care about living, or going to jail?
That's the kind of thinking that level headed patriots want nothing to do with. And its the kind of thinking and message that falls right into the playbook of the gun control crowd.
