Why Obama’s Keystone XL rejection excuses are a complete load of crap

From one who specializes in it.

It’s bad enough that President Obama dragged his feet for seven years before doing what everyone knew he was going to do. TransCanada, the Canadian government an awful lot of Americans who could have used the economic boost (including the folks in North Dakota and an awful lot of Obama’s union supporters) were left to twist in the wind while Obama pretended he was “reviewing” the proposed Keystone XL pipeline.

Of course, he was doing no such thing. He knew on Day 1 he was going to reject it because that’s what his extreme environnmentalist supporters demanded - and it’s also what he personally believes in because he’s one of those extreme environmentalists. He hates the oil industry and will never do anything to promote its success if he can help it. (Even his bragging about increased domestic oil production is nonsense because that’s all happening on private lands. Obama stops it from happening on federal lands every chance he gets.)

I read that we get a price discount from Canada due to our long friendship as nations. I also remember reading that Canada would terminate that discount if we turned down the pipeline.

He said no to the Keystone pipeline because he knew that it wouldn’t begin until he was out of office anyway since he only has a year left. This was a safe decision for him and no downside. The Republican after him will get it going.

0dunga refrained from making a decision on Keystone to get through elections (mainly 2012) and minimize damage to Dems. Well, that’s out the window now, so.. LOL

They are a load of crap because everything this pos does is crap.

From the Keystone pipeline to the beer summit, and everything in between Obucketocrap f&;)ks up.

Look at the toast to the Queen of England. He could not even pull that off. The total moron just kept on blabbing while England’s national anthem played. The Queen had to tell him to shut up.

The queer needs to be done away with like a kennel full of stray dogs in a pound that have not been adopted.

Who would ever invest in a large-scale project in the United States if there are to be no rules that can be defined to determine whether or not it can be built. Nobody will ever take that chance.

The reprecussions from this decision will dwarf the jobs that were lost as a direct result.

Exactly correct... Warren Buffet owns most of the rail tanker cars that are currently delivering the oil. The opening of the pipeline would cost Buffet an incredible amount of money.

“Warren Buffet owns most of the rail tanker cars that are currently delivering the oil. “

And he bought the company that makes those tanker cars.

While I do not believe anything that Obama says, Donald Trump, the master deal-maker, has recently explained that the USA would not really benefit from the Keystone deal as it had been defined.
Trump: US needs 'better deal' before approving Keystone pipeline
