I left the Republican party last March. I can still vote in the Republican primary in my state, though.
It’s going both ways. The Democrats know how to play this game.

There good if the conservative stay in the party they’re not good if the conservative leaves party
The point is the establish it is trying to piss you off enough to change your registration and leave the party and shut yourself out of the primary.

That’s what I thought. Letting democrats vote on who will be the republican nominee makes no sense. Open primaries are as dopey as requiring no ID to vote.
