Rush has a graphic posted on his wall that is quite illustrative.
That sounds easy, and it is. But some would rather be complicit in the media's quest to choose the Republican nominee. Others are just so soft-headed they couldn't help it.
West Point used to run ads touting full scholarships.

Its sad that Rush had to spend so much time today cleaning up a mess that Ben Carson created ..... I believe that Ben Carson has been coddled so long that he thinks “rules are for other folks” ... Just like Juan McCain believed ...
>> Just a thought. Instead of piling on Ben Carson for an obvious hit piece...
... maybe we, instead, should pile on him for supporting TPP and amnesty and gun control.
Just a thought.
You are incorrect in that assertion. Promote your candidate with all the exaggerations and lies you wish, but stop trashing other Republican contenders without knowing the facts, and clearly, you do not know.
I say this as a Trump supporter. I hope Trump issues an apology.
And minimum wage, and not retaliating for 9-11.
My brother went to West Point in 1971. No one pays to go there (except with promised years of service after graduation), so Carson’s saying he was offered a full scholarship didn’t ring true. I don’t know if it’s the same way now, but back then, each Congressman got to nominate two candidates. I’m not sure about this, but I think people whose parent or grandparent had gone to West Point could also apply. I could see Westmoreland encouraging Carson to apply, but I can’t imagine him telling Carson it would be easy for him to get in.

As Winston Churchill once observed, "A lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth gets its trousers on in the morning."
“I say this as a Trump supporter. I hope Trump issues an apology.”
What, for tellinng the truth about Carson? And it will all come out in the wash. Oh, by the way, you do know that Carson said today (as reported by the Wall Street Journal) that he is supporting the TPP trade deal. Is the Wall Street Journal lying too?
That isn’t the case, Patton.
Carson didn’t do this, Politico smeared him.
I don’t support Carson at all, but I think Rush was right to defend him from such an attack.
If a candidate is to be taken down, then let him be taken down on his positions, not on some manufactured false scandal.
A lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth can get its boots on.
That has been my tack.
Despite his many supporters who want amnesty so bad they can taste it.
Again .... BC thinks he can get away with anything because .... well, you already know the answer, don’t you ?
Dr. Carson didn't make a mess...Politico and the media did their Conservative drop-kick on him....you need to research exactly what he said.
So, has Politico found out which kibbutz Bernie Sanders worked on?
Considering that the word just got out that Carson supports TPP, this Politico story may be the best thing that has happened to him this week.
I don’t really know what Carson thinks about getting away with anything or not.
It seems to be the case that he didn’t try to get away with anything here, but rather Politico tried to get away with false assertions, so I cannot support something like that.
I don’t support Ben Carson, but I don’t want to see him defeated by lies.
There is another story about Carson’s support for TPP. I think that is a legitimate route of attack that should be pursued.
Politico is despicable.
Trump supporters need to implore him to back off and apologize to Carson. This is trouble...
