What a Putin Propaganda Bonanza if ISIS Took That Plane Down with American Weaponry...

Interesting how they're now saying 'US satellite detects heat flash
suggesting a bomb' -if you look at the video you can see the flash at 00:14 with your own eyes...
sure looks like it to me, seems to be blowing-out the top of the fuselage:

All 224 on-board were soon dead, scattered over 7 sq miles of desert less than 30 minutes after takeoff from Sharm-el-Shiekh. Most had been sucked-out of their seats at 31K feet. Odd sounds were heard in the cockpit, but no distress signal was ever sent. Internal technical problems and pilot error have been ruled out by the airline.

SOMEbody blew this thing up SOMEhow- but not necessarily with a 'bomb'.

Of course ISIS says they took the plane down -and issued the above video. They've also claimed to have done it with a missile.
Sinai branch of ISIS
is supposedly on the verge of releasing a statement, but if they're smart they won't be telling us any more than they really need to..

Alas, it most certainly could have been hit by an advanced portable AA missile (rather than a bomb on-board) the kind the Egyptians said ISIS (in the Sinai) simply doesn't have. This seems to have become the leading theory in Moscow, they're now stating it was blown-apart by 'external' impact. The statement is significant, because they probably already also know if there were explosives involved by looking for residue on the little bits remaining.

Putin himself must think ISIS was behind it- he's already retaliating.

AND what if it does turn out to have been hit by an ISIS rocket- sure will be interesting when they deduce the country of origin, won't it. And what all did Hillary/CIA lose in Libya

Some may still doubt that ISIS had such sophisticated AA missiles -favoring the bomb theory. I would have leaned that way too in speculation,
but now the Russians say it was 'external'- meaning 'rocket' (or meteor), and after all it only took one...

“Damage was caused to the stringers, aft pressure bulkhead, tail, fuselage skin, and so forth. “

A heater shot at a tgt at that altitude, speed and receding is not physically possible.

Do Stingers, or any other MANPAD have the range to reach up to 31,000 feet?

Maybe, if jeb! is standing on his tippy toes when he fires it:)

“I am not sure I trust ....”

Well, then don’t trust it. Trust your won lying eyes. Look at the still photographs and the videos of the Airbus engines and fuselage. I see no shrapnel holes in them, do you? When the Russians shot down Flight MH17 over the Ukraine, you could immediately see the shrapnel holes in the pieces of the fuselage. Even if you pretend all such holes were located only in the pieces of the fuselage and tail that burned, the pieces of shrapnel that became embedded would still remain undestroyed in the wreckage. If such pieces were in the unburned or burned wreckage, they would be quickly discovered by the investigators on the crash sites. I haven’t seen any of them report the finding of any such pieces of shrapnel, have you?

So, if you cannot trust your own eyes when looking for shrapnel holes that are not there, then what are you going to trust?

Yes, that is precisely what I said multiple times....

Yes, but the tgt was receding (flying away). The engagement envelop is not circular, it has different ranges and altitudes based on the tgt alt, range, close/receding rate. . .and for a shot like that to happen would require an Acq radar network to be set-up and then pass tgt acquisition data to the TTR (because TTR is like looking through a straw and needs Acq radar data feeds to locate the tgt), then TTR needs to be activated (setting off all sorts of ELINT sensors in the region, too include the Israeli’s, then take shot before the jet enters max range for a closing tgt. . .did not happen.

My bad: My post was for the conspiracy-types. I should have been more clear.

Can we just turn Obama and Hildabeast over to the Russians and be done with it?

I distinctly remember when the news of this tragedy first came out, it was stated that there WAS some kind of technical problem/distress call from the cockpit and they do NOT think terrorism was involved even though a terror group was alluding to being responsible. Am I remembering wrong? So now, not long after, as I suspected might happen, it’s a different story. In the beginning of any event no statements should be given other than...we don’t know and are investigating. Tired of the speculation being presented almost as facts these days.

Sure it is possible. But hasn’t it been flying fine for 14 years with the repair it received?

I wonder if they obsess over just what can and cannot be carried on flights like we do here. If not, I wonder if there could have been a shoe bomb passenger or something like that.

Hopefully the black boxes will have the necessary info.

According to Debka, they and the Egyptians lied to cover up and changed their story 3-4 times before Moscow said it was hit by something ‘external’

They’ve got it pretty well documented-

It was apparently less than 30 minutes after takeoff, maybe it hadn’t reached max altitude?

Exactly. Most likely scenario is simply a wahabbist put a bomb in the cargo hold or some other sabotage. SAMs require some serious hardware and are detectable.

Rocket or Bomb does it really matter? ISIS took Credit for the attack and so they deserve to be pounded to pieces. I say use every terrible weapon Russia has-—from Nukes to germs to gas. make em pay 1,000 lives for each person killed on the plane. Joining ISIS should be a death sentence. Russia sould go into Sini (with the help of Egypt) and clean out that viper’s nest. Then, ISIS proper should be exterminated with extream prejudice.

When Obola and The Witch conspired to overthrow and murder Quadaffi they turned his very large arsenal over to the Muslim Brotherhood and AQ. No doubt he had a number of crew served AA missiles as well as MANPADS. With Egypt also in the hands of the MB and AQ, driving a few of those batteries across the border would have taken no more than some fuel and a few drivers. Also, what about the crew served AA Egyptian missiles that fell into the hands of the MB and AQ when Obola and The Witch turned Egypt over to the MB and AQ? In short, ISIS would have had no trouble at all getting one or more crew served AA missiles that could do this, all of it thanks to Obola and The Witch.

“Sure it is possible. But hasn’t it been flying fine for 14 years with the repair it received?”

Yes, but that is exactly what you would expect with that kind of a stress fracture in a monolithic structure. Aluminum aircraft, commercial and military, are rebuilt and/or retired after so many cycles and flight hours to avoid undetected metal fatigue failures from occurring in flight. In cases such as the novel wings of the TU-144 or the latest composite material aircraft, the engineering assumptions have not yet had sufficient time to reveal whether or not the forecast assumptions about composite material fatigue are fully reliable or not. See what happened with the de Havilland Comet air disasters and how their engineering assumptions about metal fatigue proved to have fatal flaws. Also look at what happened to a 131st Tactical Fighter Wing F-15 when it prematurely cracked and broke apart in mid-air, grounding the fleet of F-15 aircraft. My test pilot uncle and his crew were killed during World War Two when a aircraft manufacturer failed to understand and recognize the metal fatigue in his patrol bomber aircraft caused it to disintegrate during testing over the bombing range.

“i thought missiles went for heat”

Surface-to-air missiles large enough to intercept an airliner at 31,000 to 33,000 feet of altitude typically use radar guidance systems and more.

“this looks like the cockpit exploded”

That is what you can expect a cockpit section to look like after it free falls from up to 5 miles high in the air and impact the ground.
