Matt: I think it may have well as been a Trump plant because he knocks these things out of the park. If it sounds like Bush is planting somebody in the audience, it just works to Trump’s advantage.

Trump signed an agreement that involved being treated fairly by the RNC. If the RNC were serious about that, they'd be demanding that Jeb leave the race. They'd also be demanding that no campaigns allow this type of treachery to go on.
