This is all a reality show to Trump, it is all about Trump. Still have yet to hear him defend and explain the argument for conservatism and how THAT will make America great again. I believe he hasn’t made that argument because he doesn’t truly understand it.
But Trump is not a conservative. He is certainly an outsider. But he is not a conservative.
Trump haters keep looking at his old history. It does not matter to them that he was not a politician. They do not understand how a large PRIVATELY held business must be run in a hostile political blue state. So they conclude Trump is not a rock hard social conservative. They know he will not strap bombs to his body and enter an abortion clinic. They do not understand the fiscal conservatism of a rich man who pushed for paying off the national debt, costing 14% of his own wealth. Basically these Trump haters do not care about fiscal issues.
But the clinching point for Trump haters is that their own candidate, is well known for a take no prisoners social conservative. To them that is the overriding issue. They are mostly single issue voters. It burns them up that finally they have such a candidate in the race, and Trump is polling consistently 4 times better. They are consumed with frustration.

As someone who was born, raised, and lives in rural Virginia, I can tell you that the men here don't need some yelling Manhattanite who eats pizza with a fork to teach them about manhood.
