Regardless of whether the equipment is good or bad, why is China sending them to Syria?
A) The Chinese, like the Russians, suspect the Saudis and the Americans secretly back Muslim insurgents around the world to destabilize countries like China, India and Russia. In defending Assad the Chinese are defending the concept of the nation state order and against uprisings.
B) Other theory I hear is that if the Gulf pipeline goes through, that will mean the Europeans will be getting the oil resources China needs because selling to Europe would become easier. By blocking a Gulf pipeline to Syria the Chinese can still guarantee oil will flow to them from the Persian Gulf.
C) All The Above.
Saudi oil.
Other than wiping Israel and the U.S. off the map, that's Iran's goal.
China and Russia and Iran will build up their armies under the ruse of stabilizing Syria and once Syria is stable, they will turn their attention to Saudi.
