Prime minister under fire from Lethal Weapon actor and activist over comments that Jamaica should ‘move on’ from slavery.
Actor Danny Glover has called David Cameron’s suggestion that Jamaica should “move on” from slavery “outrageous”, and said it shows the UK prime minister’s “ignorance” of the issues.
In comments reported by the Gleaner, Glover – best known for his role in the Lethal Weapon movies, but also a long-term left-leaning activist on a wide variety of causes – said: “To make such an outrageous statement is an insult ... it’s outrageous ... and it just shows his ignorance.”
Glover was visiting Jamaica as part of a campaign for reparations for slavery, and addressed an editorial meeting at the Gleaner, the country’s best-known news publication. Glover told the meeting: “I’m not holding out for the reparations....

I’m sorry, when was Danny Glover a slave?
No amount of money would stop black racists from playing the race card. Money can’t buy you love from psychopaths.
None of the folks whose ancestors were slaves would be alive today if not for slavery. If left in Africa, there would have been a break in the lineage as couples would have never met there. Or perhaps not even survived to procreate.
They all owe descendants of slave holders a gift for the fact that they were ever born.

Reparations? Yes, Britain and its navy should be reimbursed for the expense and trouble of ending the slave trade. Too bad they didn’t start early enough to have kept Danny’s ancestors and his ugly worthless ass back on the African continent.
We should move on from slavery - shut down the IRS, end dependency based social policy, and expose socialism for what it is.

It is not necessary for it to mean anything. The important thing is for Danny Glover to be seen and heard saying politically correct things on white racism and black victim hood. It is resume enhancement. He will be Mr. Big when he gets back to Los Angeles, will be interviewed and fawned over by Matt and Savannah, etc. and he will speak in a relaxed manner with absolute authority and knowledge.
Pay the damn reparations, we will get every cent back within 5 years anyway.

If we give Danny a refund will he move back to Africa?
He has had all kinds of opportunity here in this awful country which allowed him to become a millionaire. He still has a chip on his shoulder that no ancestor of his would have.
The black and their “spokesmen” like Glover never mention the trillions of dollars of white moneys spent on that race since Lyndon Johnson’s great society in the 1960’s. (Johnson himself merely considered his program as buying the black vote for centuries) Such people as Glover are merely conquerors demanding more from the vanquished.
