TRUMP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT? NOT! By Aaron Goldstein on 9.25.15

In his latest on Donald Trump, my AmSpec colleague Jeff Lord praises The Donald as a fighter. Jeff writes, “What was Donald Trump doing just yesterday? He was fighting. Fighting with Fox. And before that? With Jorge Ramos. With Univision. With Megyn Kelly. With CNN. With Rosie O’Donnell.”

O.K., so we know who Donald Trump is fighting. But what exactly is Donald Trump fighting for?

The Donald makes for good TV. But so does the WWE. By this standards perhaps we should elect Vince McMahon or John Cena to the White House. I say this in all seriousness because we should consider Jeff’s assessment of the recently departed Scott Walker:

Meanwhile there was Scott Walker busy talking. He was talking… talking… talking. Here’s a sample Walker quote from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel a while back:

“We’ll talk about a number of things, from health care to national security, in the next couple weeks. We’ll roll out a couple of those before the next debate,” he said Thursday. “And then, in the weeks following that, on tax policy and other issues out there.”

No offense to Governor Walker but….Yawn.

Apparently things like health care, national security and tax policy are boring. So why talk about “boring things” when you can call Megyn Kelly “a bimbo”? Let’s put it this way. If your top priority is hearing someone call Megyn Kelly a bimbo, then Donald Trump is your man. But if your top priorities are.........

The author should read Trump’s position papers on immigration and the 2nd amendment with two others coming out soon on national security and tax reform. They are far more detailed and substantive than any of the other candidates.

You don’t think he has dealt with defeat in his life? I think he is one that takes lemons and makes lemonade. He is an unrelenting fighter...just shich is what is needed.

“the left will use this when they think the time is right... if they have to...and they wont let to go”

I think you could not be more wrong. The left won’t know what to do with an opponent who actually fights back effectively. They will get their collective butts kicked by Trump because they haven’t had effective opposition since Reagan. Republican SOP is to meekly fold and apologize to any outrageous crap the media comes up with. I believe that most Republicans would have apologized after having a talking head say they were castrated on national TV instead of being rightfully outraged by that garbage. If Trump followed GOP-e SOP he would have been done in May and Jeb would be the front runner now. Trump is doing the right thing here and more importantly, he is winning. It is as critical for the republicans to fight the media as it is for them to fight the ‘Rats and Trump is the only one who understands that. Fox is sitting down with him now because Ailes realizes they screwed up after Trump made some noise about it. How many other republicans candidates have the spine to actually make noise and fight back against outrageous Media slurs? The answer is, sadly, probably none. Failure of GOP politicians to fight back against the media for the past few decades is a big part of why we are in the mess we are in. I am glad Trump sees that and is doing something about, unlike the rest of the whipped puppy republicans.

Trump led the nation into talking about P.C.

“Talking”??? Let’s just take #1.
Many of us are still waiting to hear how Trump plans to identify, locate, and detain over 11-20 million illegals spread across the nation and then shipped by planes, buses, and trains to over 20 different countries while hauling families with children, all in the face of a certain tsunami of federal injunctions.

Many of us don’t want to float on this ship of fools.

There is one choice only: Cruz or Lose.

Cruz would face the same Tsunami. Trump has an 11 page position paper on how he would do this. If anyone can out tsunami the legal tsunami, it's Trump. He doesn't give up. He fights. He understands leverage. He understands pursuing alternate and multiple paths to the same goal.

Where is Cruz's position paper? I looked for one on his website and I don't see any position papers at all.

Cruz isn't ready for the presidency. He's an excellent lawyer, and I hope they select him as Speaker. But he doesn't understand the economy the way Trump does.

GWB didn’t practice self defense because doing so is an un-christian and unbecoming thing for a prissy American President to do.

Dainty purse lipped Dubya prefered to turn the other cheek as his metaphorical cheeks were unceasingly violated by the MSM and the rabid left.

What do you need a paper on immigration for? On his first day Cruz has said he will withdraw all funds from sanctuary cities, get a law on what birthright citizenship means, and will fine employers who hire illegals.

Trump has never told us how he plans to deport 11-20 million? Its like saying we have a plan to colonize the Moon.

Do we really need someone with four bankruptcies to tell us how he plans to runs the economy?

Trump loses on all on on one contests between him and Cruz, Florina, and Rubio. He’s ahead because of over a dozen candidates splitting the Republican primary vote.

Your biases and hatred of Trump has blinded you beyond repair.

No candidates, especially this far out, has EVER, in my lifetime, spelled out, in detail, what their plans were, in primary debates. They didn't even do so in the later debates between the nominees. Nixon and JFK most assuredly didn't, when they went face to face.

Your posts are inane, puerile, and without merit.

Statements of FACT, about your posts, aren't "name calling".

It would help you, quite a lot, if you learned how to write complete sentences. Not to do so is childish.....at best.
