The heartening news that John Boehner is not only out of the Speaker’s Chair but out of Congress as well has just broken.
Here are a few points to keep in mind;
When Boehner removed North Carolina conservative Congressman Mark Meadows as Chair of the Government Operations Subcommittee of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, he set in motion a chain of events that has brought us to today’s decision.
Having Jason Chaffetz of Utah deliver the news was supposed to somehow protect Boehner from the anticipated blow back, but it didn’t.
Under extreme pressure he never saw coming, Boehner HAD to restore Meadows to his former position and he probably thought that would end the matter. It didn’t. It only stoked the fire of rebellion against him.
Meadows demanded a resolution to vacate the Speaker’s Chair in July. In an incredible display of just how out of touch Boehner and his followers are they decided to hold the vote just before going on August recess. The idea was to beat Meadows and teach him a lesson he would have to stew about for six weeks. That vote was called off when Boehner found out he had only 37% support and would lose it.
It was Boehner who stewed for six weeks.
Boehner must have floated the idea that he would survive with Democrat votes. That didn’t go over so well with Congressional...

A maudlin man whose whole life is about the 19th hole.
The first to go was Eric Cantor who, with Boehner and McCarthy, raised a ton of Texas construction contractor money to overwhelm Manzullo for the "crime" of sending a letter to Boehner in 2011 asking a resolution t omtell Obozo that there would be no more increases in the national debt "limit" on Obozo's watch.
Denny Hastert, though retired, did NOTHING to help Manzullo. He is under federal indictment for paying off men whom Hastert apparently sexually abused when they were high school wrestling team members and he was coach and teacher. Denny, don't let the jailhouse door hit you in the butt on your way in (for the rest of your life, if possible).
Former US Representative Aaron Schock of Peoria, noted body builder, magazine coverboy and, ummm, interior designer with other people's moolah and a full part of the group that led to the demise of Manzullo.
Now the Weeper of the House, John Barleycorn Boehner and his oange suntan in a bottle. Who knows what they have on him? May he be indicted, tried, convicted and imprisoned without delay.
Paul Ryan whose district lies just north of ours in Wisconsin. Ryan is a bought and paid for whore of the first order. No need for mercy. I look forward to his demise.
Peter Roskam, whose district lies just east of ours. He was part of "leadership" when they purged Manzullo. Then they took away his position as Whip when he challenged the Ca;ifornia pro-abort slimebag McCarthy who was also part of getting Manzullo OUT in the interest of corrupt crony capitalists, Chamber of Commerce weasels an lobbyists everywhere who depend on spending our grandchildren's earnings to fatten that corporate bottom line NOW. It was good that he challenged McCarthy who is worse but Roskam is as bad enough to deserve extinction politically.
Today's news tells us that spaghetti-spined Peter King of New York is just "disappointed" that John Barleycorn is retiring and says there is "no appeasing" what King imagines are the extremists. Da*n right, Peter. You are now on the list too. They can help America by taking their portable red lights, portable mattresses and sacks of quarters and BE GONE ASAP!
