The Washington Examiner has taken the, “Beep beep, move along folks, nothing to see here” approach to try to bring down Donald Trump. These latest Wile E. Coyotes have pronounced, “Trump is obsessed with an immigration crisis that’s already over.”
The illegal aliens they are talking about are being supported to the tune of $200 billion a year by the few Americans who are still working but that is not a problem, the Washington Examiner assures us.
The fact that Barack Obama has done so well in “fundamentally transforming America” into a third country has made life so intolerable here that third world slum dwellers now prefer Mexico to Texas or New York. This is supposed to make Trump’s argument for shutting down the borders moot! As ridiculous as it sounds, the Examiner quotes statistics from Pew proving this claim – really they did! We are then to cast aside the news that the Democrat cities that attract these illegal invaders are lying when they say they have public schools filled with students whose languages are indecipherable to them. None of that matters when you work for the GOPe.
Taking this line, the Examiner is showing us that the Uniparty wants the problem to leave our consciousness so we won’t notice that 93 million Americans who could be working aren’t working.
It also wants us to swallow the liberal version of dynamic scoring that does not accept that people react to events in a dynamic way not a static way. Liberals won’t like this but the truth is that...
