They think they “got” him. They just reminded everyone that they aren’t alone in thinking Obama is a fraud.
This is what keeps happening with Trump. They keep thinking they “got” him, and he keeps getting stronger. Because he keeps saying (or in this case not denying) what everyone is already thinking. In attacking Trump, they communicate to the vast unwashed masses that they are not alone in thinking what they think.
They assume they have an audience.

CNN isn’t an arm of the DNC. It is the propaganda arm of the Progressive movement that includes both parties.
Trump’s response should have been “Obama may be a lot of things, but calling him a muslim is slanderous. There is no way the President would embrace that devilish cult.” Imagine the reaction to that.

How does Chrissy think he nailed Trump? How many devotees of the Chrissy Tingles show does anybody believe would vote for Trump anyway? None. All of the people calling for Trump to apologize would never ever vote for him even if he did. He knows this.
