With a major conservative rebellion on their hands, the establishment controllers of the Republican Party have planned their most sophisticated manipulation of voters to dateto make sure public backlash against Obama accrues to an establishment controlled Republican and not a true conservative. Ever wonder why the GOP has promoted and allowed an unprecedented 17 Republican candidates to crowd the field for president? It was not by accident. By flooding the field with a variety of controlled candidates they can fracture and water down conservative support for the two or three candidates who arent controlled by the establishment, and then use the newly changed primary system to allow an establishment candidate to emerge even when lacking a majority of support. It is a bit complex, but you have to understand this in order to see what they have been doing behind the scenes.
Many of the manipulations to the primary system came about during the last election cycle when Ron Paul threatened to ruin traditional Republican control of the state GOP parties by electing a majority of delegates to the conventioneven in states where Paul had not won the primary (and some of that was due to corruption of the voting process).
The other motivation for the changes was to stop any more self-financed candidates like Mitt Romney from becoming a significant factor. These rule changes will now help them finally take down the challenger, Donald Trump.

We should all read and understand this. Know your enemy.
There are two candidates I would vote for. If it is one of the others, I will not trek to the polls in 2016 and vote.
I despise the rest of them.
I know many others who will do the same. I don’t think the GOPe cares anyway, so neither do I.
If Trump wins Florida, their strategy is smashed to pieces.
I hope that the NEXT NEW Republican party is called The CRUZERS.
If it’s Bush I will vote for Wacka Flocka Flame. He claims to be running and can self finance. I don’t know if his name will actually show up on the ballot, though.
Smart. As I recall John McCain sewed up his nomination by winning the CT, NY, MA and CA primaries. Who gives a crap about someone from the right that wins the Cali and New York primaries? That doesn’t prove squat. If anything it proves that you’ll have low turnout in NC, VA, FL et al. unless the same guy wins those too. And Mclame did not.
The Democrat Party steers the early Republican primaries. Open primaries, open season on us.
Left standing, probably Jeb Bush.
Fix that? Yeah, someday.
Had conservative activists concentrated on fixing this problem rather than fighting the GOPe designated loser every four years, we would have states which actually voted GOP in November picking the nominee.
This is why I want to see state polling results and see if they reflect the media national poll numbers. Trump not only has to win Repub primaries, he has to be able to beat the Dem candidate in California, New York, Illinois, Pennsylvania and the like in order to win this thing. At this point were way past consideration of Trump's conservative bonafides. We need someone who can smash the apparatus/rigged game that has been constructed to deny us the conservative choices we all desire and that America needs. I would love for that choice to be Cruz but America doesn't seem to be interested in him based on polling data. How ever conservative Trump is/is not is for someone else to decide. It appears for now that he is more one of us than he is one of them. That's good enough for me.
Trump gets it -
“Rand Paul should not be on the stage”
One thing I’ve learned is never go wobbly when Trump speaks, he may make you uncomfortable, but he’s always right.
This is a pretty good explanation of the playbook that the RNC follows to nominate amnesty candidates against the wishes of their base.
The Cheap Labor Express has already paid for an amnesty candidate and they RNC means to deliver.
Trump may be the only way to effect a hostile takeover.
(I’m still planning to vote for Cruz in March, but may change to Trump if needed)
Worth a read
“Ted Cruz appears to be “skipping” Florida ... “zero” appearances in over a year ...That’s probably a good political strategy decision.”
I agree...about all Cruz will do there (at least as it looks now) is pull down Trump, which is the worst thing that can happen. Smart move, maybe even coordinated with Trump.
All things considered, the only Primaries that should matter to the GOP are the Swing States - Colorado, Florida, Nevada, Ohio, and Virginia.
They were counting on cankles running unopposed. The hardcore libtards will be coming out in droves to vote for the VT commie. This puts a damper on the number who would normally cross over to vote for the weakest GOPe candidate (yeb!) . The uniparty might actually lose in the primaries since very few people are motivated to turn out for cankles or jebtard! Whereas the non-establishment on both sides will crawl over broken glass to vote.
“Closed primary states are Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Washington DC, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington State, and Wyoming. All the others are either open or modified.”
Michigan is NOT a closed primary state!
Donald Trump has them in a panic... is the only candidate polling well over 50%.
Jeb’s strategy was always going to depend on conservatives splintering their votes among a number of different candidates, ensuring he would come on top with the moderate GOP vote and the independents in states that have open primaries.
Well if conservatives coalesce around Trump and much of the field drops out early, most of the support would go to Trump and not to Bush.
A popular insurgent like Donald Trump wasn’t factored in by the GOP establishment when they wrote the rules to ensure Jeb would get an easy path to the nomination. Trump is their worst nightmare.
And Jeb is stuck in the low single digits - not in the 20s where he would need to be to win the GOP nomination. Of course, the GOP establishment is feverishly praying Trump will self-immolate.
So Jeb can in the end pick up the pieces as the presumed GOP Dauphin.
