IED's have taken a horrible toll on the US military:

"It was like a slow awakening for everybody," says Chris Macedonia, a doctor and former adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, now-retired admiral Michael Mullen. "There were phenomena that were happening, particularly related to IEDs, that just didn't match what the education and teaching were before."
Doctors found that repeated mild brain injuries from blasts — without allowing the brain time to heal — can cause permanent neurological damage, risking later onset of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or the even more debilitating chronic traumatic encephalopathy.

What exactly do you want to hear from someone running for President?
They are all now of one mind and single body of a semi dictatorship government preparing for the next stage. A few fight the good fight but most commit treason against the United States every chance they can. If they can make a dollar doing it they delight in it even more. The media is the equivalent to a state ran propaganda agency.
It looks like Cruz and Rubio just wanted the world to know how screwed up they both were. Cruz boldly drives forward with his willful stupidity.
I gave Cruz money and I still say this.
Then think about this. He lived in a city with a totalitarian mayor for two terms and could have ran against him and made a name as a corruption fighter then. Then he turns around and endorse yet another mayor who is doing likewise. Yeah Da Donald will know just what to do. The only unkind words he had about Bloomberg was Boo Hoo Da Donalds wealth was underestimated by Bloomberg's media.

However, our votes will be going to Trump, Cruz, or Carson, in the primary. Which one will depend on who our vote can most help move things forward to impact the general election and then the country. If Trump looks to win our state, we'd throw our votes to one of the other two to help provide them with greater standing for Vice President.
I am among the top 1 percent donors to Cruz and I will not let him slide by, just like I won't let the others slide by. Trump still has a lot of “’splaining” to do, but if he seems guaranteed to, by will, force, or embarrassment, move key conservative issues forward, I will be elated when he gets the nod.
Dr. Carson is a wonderful man with no baggage and a great heart and mind. I look forward to hearing more from him, as well, and would be happy for his win.
I hear you. This Corker Amendment vote isn’t a deal-breaker for me with Ted Cruz but it is just disappointing.

Wounded Warriors organization is just a bunch of moochers and crooks. The have long commercials, during most breaks, on all stock market channels during the day. They don’t break out advertising expense separately, but it must be huge.

My first action as President of the United States would be to see that the Wounded Warrior is totally disbanded and disassembled. That this is needed (desperately) is an open and on-going admission of our total failure...as a NATION...to those who sacrifice so dearly for all of us. What a shame the need exists. Every time we see the commercial we should hang our head in disgrace!!
It's a very valid comparison. Neither Bush nor Trump {as I can tell by his statements on the clerk in Kentucky} understand the limits to federal government nor the set forth and specified powers contained in the Constitution of the United States. Obama even if he knows them subverts them and Bush policies made that subversion possible.

I don’t mean to denigrate the efforts of WWP and the like. But for God’s sake, if a guy loses his legs he should not have to go begging for the best artificial limb and rehab that is available. WE sent him there. Keeping them a whole as possible is not charity—it’s a social contract.
I was just about to post the exact sentiment but you have done it as well as I could have...it is pathetic to ask for donations to do what the government was REQUIRED to do in the first place.
