Every time you see a Wounded Warrior commercial I want you to remember this

wounded warrior

Please watch this:

https://youtu.be/zPIMQo4rqyQ

As part of Obama's surrender to Iran Qassem Suleimani has been granted amnesty. Suleimani is the commander of the Iranian elite Quds forces. The full text of Obama's surrender can be seen here. Suleimani appears on page 86.

IED's have taken a horrible toll on the US military:

About 6,572 U.S. troops have died in Iraq and Afghanistan, and 2,483 of those deaths are IED related, according to the Washington Post. IEDs are the top killer of U.S. troops. Thousands more have been wounded by them.

IEDs are a weapon that have torn limbs and lives in equal measure, left a superpower humbled and ensured the nation and its veterans will pay a high price for decades in continuing medical and psychological care.

There's lasting damage even if one survives an IED blast.
That's exactly what happened. The roller was destroyed, but the RG-31 survived. For those inside, there was the shock of the explosion, painful ear pressure, air made black with billowing dirt and dust, and a chemical smell that burned the nostrils.

Skoog, closer to the blast in the driver's seat, was stunned and disoriented. "It's not a physical wound," he recalls. "It's more like something doesn't feel right."

He showed signs of a mild traumatic brain injury from blast exposure, what scientists call the signature wound of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. With dizziness, headaches and minor concentration problems, Skoog was kept out of combat for two weeks.

Understanding the frequency of these wounds in a war where body and vehicle armor block shrapnel but the IED blast wave can still damage the brain was one of the hardest lessons learned by military medicine from modern wars.

"It was like a slow awakening for everybody," says Chris Macedonia, a doctor and former adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, now-retired admiral Michael Mullen. "There were phenomena that were happening, particularly related to IEDs, that just didn't match what the education and teaching were before."

Doctors found that repeated mild brain injuries from blasts — without allowing the brain time to heal — can cause permanent neurological damage, risking later onset of Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or the even more debilitating chronic traumatic encephalopathy.

These weapons- the really sophisticated ones- come an interesting source- Iran.
U.S. military officials charged on Sunday that the highest levels of the Iranian leadership ordered Shiite militants in Iraq to be armed with sophisticated armor-piercing roadside bombs that have killed more than 170 American forces. ... The deadly and highly sophisticated weapons the U.S. military said were coming into Iraq from Iran are known as "explosively formed penetrators," or EFPs.
And delivering these EFP's to Iraq was the responsibility of a notorious group:
Three senior military officials who explained the evidence said the "machining process" used in the construction of the deadly bombs had been traced back to Iran.

The experts, who spoke to a large gathering of reporters on condition that they not be further identified, said the supply trail began with Iran's Revolutionary Guards Quds Force, which also is accused of arming the Hezbollah guerrilla army in Lebanon. The officials said the EFP weapon was first tested there.

The Quds Forces. And who is in charge of the Quds Forces?

Qassem Suleimani.

As part of his surrender, Obama lifted travel sanctions on Suleimani and took him off the terrorist list.

The Obama regime has admitted that Obama capitulation will enable Iran to increase funding of terrorism around the world.

Foreign Minister Javad Zarif, who led nuclear negotiations with the United States, recently travelled to Syria and Lebanon to announce Iran’s renewed support for Hezbollah and the embattled regime of President Bashar al-Assad in Syria, according to the brief.

Iran will “continue providing weapons to support the Middle Eastern countries fighting terrorism,” Zarif is quoted as saying by Iran’s state-controlled press.

In light of the nuclear deal, Iran will “preserve its defensive capabilities and send weapons to its regional allies,” according to Zarif, who stressed that “without Iran and the weapons it provided to the countries fighting terrorism, the capital cities of the Middle East would have been occupied by” the Islamic State (IS, also known as ISIS or ISIL).

Obama would free Iran to wreak havoc:

As President, he’ll have plenty of advisors.

And he’ll listen and gather all the relevant information before making his own decisions. He’s used to standing on his own two feet.

You’d rather vote for someone who greased the skids to Hell like Cruz did with the Corker amendment vote.

Cruz and Rubio made this happen with their votes in favor of the Corker amendment.

Trump and even Jeb are so far removed from blame for anything Iran, it's ridiculous.

“Sorry, but “Trust me, I’ll figure it out, don’t worry about it” is not what I want to hear from someone who wants to become President.”

What exactly do you want to hear from someone running for President?

I don’t know what’s worse - 0bama’s anti-American ways or the Congress and Courts and msm for allowing him to do it.

They are all now of one mind and single body of a semi dictatorship government preparing for the next stage. A few fight the good fight but most commit treason against the United States every chance they can. If they can make a dollar doing it they delight in it even more. The media is the equivalent to a state ran propaganda agency.

What's funny is that there was such overwhelming support in the Republican Establishment that with a final vote of 99-1 (I think only Tom Cotton had any scruples against this travesty), both Rubio and Cruz could have voted against this evil and STILL have gotten their beloved amendment passed.

It looks like Cruz and Rubio just wanted the world to know how screwed up they both were. Cruz boldly drives forward with his willful stupidity.

I gave Cruz money and I still say this.

As President, Trump will know exactly who is who and what is what. And he’ll know exactly what to do about it.

Then think about this. He lived in a city with a totalitarian mayor for two terms and could have ran against him and made a name as a corruption fighter then. Then he turns around and endorse yet another mayor who is doing likewise. Yeah Da Donald will know just what to do. The only unkind words he had about Bloomberg was Boo Hoo Da Donalds wealth was underestimated by Bloomberg's media.

This is the same Cult Worship seen in 2000 with Liberal Bush and look at the messes he set us up for. Yippie.

You know, I don’t trust Trump and I do lean towards Cruz.

But ...

... knowing that Ted Cruz voted for the Corker Amendment troubles me ... a lot!

Why didn’t he and Mike Lee vote against this stupid amendment with Tom Cotton? Why?!

That bugs the heck out of me when it comes to Ted Cruz and I personally like the guy ... even reading his book right now.

I don’t believe Ted Cruz is stupid but this vote definitely was.

Not a valid comparison, sweetcheeks.

Different time, different circumstances.

But nice try anyway.

“So using the name of the terrorist group and its leader is sophomoric?”

No, but the above specious and straw man “question” is.

I would still vote for Cruz, as I do believe him to have a great many qualities, and he is a Christian whose heart I do not question. We love the guy in a number of ways.

However, our votes will be going to Trump, Cruz, or Carson, in the primary. Which one will depend on who our vote can most help move things forward to impact the general election and then the country. If Trump looks to win our state, we'd throw our votes to one of the other two to help provide them with greater standing for Vice President.

I am among the top 1 percent donors to Cruz and I will not let him slide by, just like I won't let the others slide by. Trump still has a lot of “’splaining” to do, but if he seems guaranteed to, by will, force, or embarrassment, move key conservative issues forward, I will be elated when he gets the nod.

Dr. Carson is a wonderful man with no baggage and a great heart and mind. I look forward to hearing more from him, as well, and would be happy for his win.

I hear you. This Corker Amendment vote isn’t a deal-breaker for me with Ted Cruz but it is just disappointing.

"Every time I see a wounded warrior commercial I have to ask, "--

Why the hell isn't the government taking care of every cent needed to care for these soldiers?? Personal presents always OK, including care givers.

Wounded Warriors organization is just a bunch of moochers and crooks. The have long commercials, during most breaks, on all stock market channels during the day. They don’t break out advertising expense separately, but it must be huge.

Thanks for bringing actual data to an ego fight! Trump will put the military and veterans first, and that’s all anyone really need to know.

My first action as President of the United States would be to see that the Wounded Warrior is totally disbanded and disassembled. That this is needed (desperately) is an open and on-going admission of our total failure...as a NATION...to those who sacrifice so dearly for all of us. What a shame the need exists. Every time we see the commercial we should hang our head in disgrace!!

It's a very valid comparison. Neither Bush nor Trump {as I can tell by his statements on the clerk in Kentucky} understand the limits to federal government nor the set forth and specified powers contained in the Constitution of the United States. Obama even if he knows them subverts them and Bush policies made that subversion possible.

Mark my words. I do not believe he will last politically until the early primaries. Dems are holding something big. Either the DEMs are or Trump is a GOP-E Ringer like Fred Thompson was and will back out endorsing like he did in 2012 a LIBERAL! Don't believe what he says believe what he has done and previously supported. I don't trust him at all.

I don’t mean to denigrate the efforts of WWP and the like. But for God’s sake, if a guy loses his legs he should not have to go begging for the best artificial limb and rehab that is available. WE sent him there. Keeping them a whole as possible is not charity—it’s a social contract.

I was just about to post the exact sentiment but you have done it as well as I could have...it is pathetic to ask for donations to do what the government was REQUIRED to do in the first place.
