“It breaks my heart every time you read or hear about these kinds of incidents,” Obama said.
“What we know is that the number of people who die from gun-related incidents around this country dwarfs any deaths that happen through terrorism,” the president added.”
My Opinion: Can the President explain how the number of people killed in this country by firearms, mostly black on black, should be the sudden focus of his concern when there have been 20,000 terrorist attacks worldwide since 9/11? Perhaps his cronies over at Evergreen can massage the numbers, but it would take a total lack of ethics to even make an argument hailing terrorists as somehow suddenly less dangerous, less worthy of our efforts than gang-bangers on Chicago’s South side.
One half of firearm deaths in the United States are suicides. Anti-gun liberals are always pleased to suggest that suicide and murder are somehow one and the same. Is the Muslim in Chief claiming that the innocents murdered by his fellow Islamists are actually suicides, given that they are often victims of Islamic suicide...

So let’s just disarm citizen’s so the terrorists can really do their job. It’s only fair.
And many more dies from auto accidents and pool deaths.
So, Mr. President, we should restrict or ban all cars and restrict or ban all pools?
The juvenile argument has been shredded elsewhere.
So what? More deaths on drug overdose, more deaths from auto accidents, heart disease, blah blah blah too.
I don’t see him making political hays out of those other causes.
Remember too the president doesn’t define terrorism the way we do.
For example, Ft. Hood is officially workplace violence, not a terror attack.

So? even far far far more people die from automobiles
If you back out suicides, black on black murder and criminal murder rate..the number of gun deaths become almost moot...
soon, Obama, soon... your Iranian IslamoNazi-mullah-terrorists’ nuclear ICBM attack arsenal will be completed and ready to fire on American cities
so at that time, you will get your wish (and many more Americans will die from terrorists than from mere firearms)

A whole lot of people have died because America elected Obama twice. A whole lot, all over the world.
Glad they don’t shoot live aborted fetuses..that would just be wrong.
Oh yeah well let’s count them and see how much of a liar Obama is.
Better yet let’s count the number of shootings before he ascended the throne and compare them to now.
Most murderers are democrats. Save lives gun control for democrats only.

Even police kill 10x more people in the US than “terrorists”.
The fact of the matter is that “terrorists” are not a significant killer of Americans. Terrorism rhetoric is simply a way to scare people into compliance with the destruction of their Constitutional rights and so they don’t ask too many questions about what the actual objectives of our various Middle Eastern adventures are.
The word “terrorist” doesn’t even have a fixed definition, which is why people like Hillary Clinton can get away with slapping the label on conservatives without being subject to an avalanche of defamation suits.
Obama’s been hanging around Joe Biden for a long time. This qualifies as “shooting from the lip.” Stupid comment.
