Perhaps Korean War II has begun already and we don’t yet know precisely who the combatants are or will be. I bet those chemical warehouses in China were militarily significant. The Norks put most of their sardine can subs out to sea and the Chinese are moving a lot of tracked artillery to the Yalu. The Norks and ROKs are shooting at each other across the DMZ. The Americans have moved up to the DMZ. Whatt else is going on over there?

Off topic but I spent a number of week-long detachments at Atsugi in the early ‘70s. Beautiful air station, nice locals, great bar scene, and the finest golf course in WestPac. I hope this turns out to be at the magazine and not on station.
