How about making October 10 a holiday? .... celebrate the victory of Charles Martel over Muslim forces at Tours. This battle saved western Europe from being overrun by Muslims.

IIRC, none of the Crusades was victorious for the Crusaders. Charles Martel was Charlemagne’s grandfather.
