1) Kerry: Were Hopeful Our Citizens in Iran Will be Freed
By Daniel Doherty Commentary by John Velisek USN (Ret), staff writer
Thats a politicians answer. Secretary of State John Kerry cannot guarantee that the three Americans that we know about languishing in Irans prison system will be released and returned safely to their families. He can only say that hes hopeful Iran will, in a gesture of good faith, set them free.
There was not a meeting that took place not one meeting that took place, believe me thats not an exaggeration where we did not raise the issue of our American citizens being held, he said.
Kerry said he brought it up with Iranian Foreign Minister Jawad Zarif just before the two went out to announce the deal. We remain very, very hopeful that Iran will make the decision to do the right thing and to return those citizens to the United States, Kerry said in the MSNBC interview. And we are consistently, constantly even now continuing to work on that.
My Opinion: Oh yes, Mr. John Kerry, a highly decorated VietNam vet who threw someone elses medals over the fence at the White House, and condemned his fellow soldiers to gain the popularity needed to further his political career. I dont know who disgusts me more, him or the traitor to whom he is so often comparedHanoi Jane. Does anyone actually believe this piece of garbage? We already know there were secret side deals made in Iran and Kerry doesnt understand why Iran still hates us. This man needs to be gone. Go home and play with your wifes ketchup, you dont have a clue.
