I believe it goes beyond blackmail. Many have been threatened, including their families. Yes

Might explain their Stepford-like behavior.

Yes; the Nine Hundred+ files that just happened to be found
on a coffee table by hilda beaste. Imagine that.
I think Sessions from Alabama, and Hunter from California, may be the only two congresscritters that the N ... S .... A... has not been able to find information with which to compromise them, because it doesn't exist.

I wonder why Sessions and Hunter and a few others don’t get together and get some protection and call a huge press conference and expose this.

From my conversations with a congressman its the way business is done. He says maybe 15 or 20 really clean congressmen exist. This particular congressman probably is among the clean ones because he admitted that to you.

With regards to the Wayne Allen Root video at the top of the thread, he mentions something of which I was not aware: that there was some kind of government action taken aimed at himself. I'm not saying he isn't being truthful about this situation, but does anyone know any details as to what his problem with Big Brother is all about?
Although Root is not part of the "opposition" Republican governing class in Washington (usually thought of more as a Libertarian than a Republican) and is merely a relatively minor media pundit, it would seem that the Obama motivation for retaliation against him might be his repeated statements to the effect that he was in Obama's purported graduating class at Columbia in the same major (political science), and yet neither he nor any of his classmates have any recollection of Obama from their Columbia days.

If you are able to blackmailed, you are probably not fit to serve in office. I have a theory, tin foil hat be d*mned, that you will be blocked from getting to DC unless you are able to be blackmailed. If you do somehow manage to make it there, you will be blocked from any important committee assignments. The cleaner you are, the more ruthless the MSM and possibly the IRS will be with you.
The PsTB want people they can control. Like johnny rotten roberts.

The problem isn't with the people we send to congress. The problem is that our institutions have been corrupted from their constitutional designs.

I would like to believe that but don't think it's true. There have been published pieces of people who knew him at Columbia. He was not, however, a well-known, popular, or impressive student.

The charges by a government agency don't even need to be valid.
Just being targeted by a government agency can lead to seizure of assets, a ruined reputation, and legal bills in the high 6 figures.

Who specifically **in his major**?
I knew everyone from my year **in my major** (popular and unpopular, quiet and outspoken) and they would know me.

Personally, I see this as a case of stolen academic honor. Obama claims an academic degree in a major that he could not possibly have earned.

Did you look at the link? It has interviews with his roommate, who clearly remembered him.
