Resilience. That word is defined as being able to recover quickly from difficulties. But if the Obama administration and a controversial Progressive group get their way, it will mean Progressively so much more.
The Rockefeller Foundation has a long history of pushing controversial Progressive ideas. From Population Control through family planning and Eugenics, to funding the Marxist affiliated Tides Foundation, to openly awarding Obamas Communist Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones, an award, the Rockefeller Foundation has done everything but hide their true Progressive motivations from those who care to notice. But now the Rockefeller Foundation wants to dabble in one other area in order to advance their agenda; Americorps.
On July 9th Americorps announced that it was teaming up with several Federal Government agencies, and the Rockefeller Foundation, in order to launch the Americorps Resilience division in an effort to fight Climate Change:
<WASHINGTON, D.C. Building on the Presidents Climate Action Plan, today the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the Department of Energy (DOE), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), The Rockefeller Foundation, and Cities of Service, announced a new commitment to launch a Resilience AmeriCorps pilot program.
Resilience AmeriCorps will help communities plan and implement efforts necessary to become more resilient to shocks and stresses, including extreme weather and other impacts of climate change. Through the pilot program, AmeriCorps VISTA members will serve in up to 12 communities in 2015-2016 to support the development of resilience strategies that will both help communities better manage the unavoidable and avoid the unmanageable. AmeriCorps VISTA members will build volunteer networks to carry out program initiatives, and create education and outreach materials to strengthen awareness and citizen engagement in low-income communities.
How could helping cities become more resilient to shocks and stresses possibly be bad you ask?
Well according to the Rockefeller Foundation, in order to make a Resilient City it must have Universal Healthcare, Sustainable Development, and even take care of what the Rockefeller Foundations City Resilience Framework report refers to as Minimal Human Vulnerability. Or what those of us who recognize Marxism when we see it would call: wealth redistribution:
1. Minimal human vulnerability
This relates to the extent to which everyones basic needs are met. Minimising underlying human vulnerabilities enables individuals and households to achieve a standard of living which goes beyond mere survival. A basic level of wellbeing also allows people to deal with unforeseen circumstances. This is only possible once their physiological needs are met through a basic level of provision of food, water and sanitation, energy and shelter.
To add to the Marxist train of thought the report goes on to state that in order for a city to be Resilient everyone must have a living wage and have unrestricted access to legitimate occupations.
It would seem that a Resilient City must provide food, shelter, energy, and unrestricted access to a job for its inhabitants.
Gee, where have I heard that before? Oh thats right.. can you say Communism??
Now where is the Rockefeller Foundation coming up with all of these wonderful Progressive ideas on building a Resilient City (I know youre asking yourself)?
According to the Forward of the City Resilience Framework report, they credit a known Progressive named Jane Jacobs who wrote a book for the Rockefeller Foundation in the 60s titled-The Death and the Life of Great American Cities-. As a matter of fact, Jane Jacobs was so Progressive that she even thanked Saul Alinsky, the author of Rules for Radicals, for helping her in writing the book.
So far, the Rockefeller Foundation has chosen 100 cities from around the world to become more Resilient. Among them are:
Sydney, Australia Rome, Italy St. Louis, Missouri
So as you notice the Obama Administrations latest volunteer Stormtroopers..err.. I mean Americorps members roaming about your town trying to make it more Resilient, just smile and remember. They were sent by the Obama administration and the Rockefeller Foundation and theyre here to help
in their own Progressively
Marxist way.
What sort of shirts/hats are these brown shirt goon squads gonna wear, I need to setup a sub routine in my brain’s “friend or foe” system...
Fascism.
Yeah, it’s back again. Darn.
Wonder who has bigger hips? The Wookie, Killary or Catlin?
Oh, Jim, that’s you. Don’t worry. we will get them. That is why we are here. How about that Trump smacking the gope. Almost makes you want to get up in the morning.
If president Obama were an enemy, what would he be doing differently?
Not a damn thing, as we both know.
If any taxpayer dollars are used for this communist goon squad, somebody needs to go to prison. I suggest that they start with the Kenyan.
Billions.
We are the goon squad and we’re coming to town....beep beep!
One is reminded of the anecdote told by Mark Levin to the effect that when he came into office with the newly elected Reagan administration he discovered a storehouse of Saul Alinsky's books, Rules for Radicals, which were being distributed at government expense through various left-wing groups. Levin says he caused these books to be destroyed, and properly so. Yet, we see the resurgence of Saul Alinsky from bottom to top culminating in the candidacy of Hillary Clinton who herself was an admirer and acolyte of Saul Alinsky. Levin makes the point that Democrat administrations insinuate leftists into every corner of the federal government, cloaks them with civil service protection, but encourages them to act as political hacks. The shenanigans of Lois Lerner come to mind as a notorious example. If a Republican administration comes in, these fifth column agents would be difficult to root out even if a Republican administration were animated to do so.
We can look at the resilience of Planned Parenthood to efforts to defund it and we are appalled at the cowardice of one Republican administration after the other both federal and state. How many lives does Acorn have? Answer: as many as it has new names.
The fundamental problem is the Republican establishment who will serve up red meat to conservatives at election time but will govern to please K St. and the media. No establishment Republican administration will take on the Rockefeller Foundation and whatever infrastructure Obama puts in place now will outlast him and do God knows what damage to our society for years until there is an explosion in our cities whereupon the media will cry out that we must spend more money to compensate for racism. This whole undertaking, of course, is intended to marry African-American disenfranchisement which Marxist remedies. Inevitably, it will generate more Stalinist mentality in our inner cities and it will result in more of what we see in Baltimore: mal administration and street violence. Look for the violence of the type we saw in Baltimore to be augmented by the marriage of communist African-Americans to radical Islam, all promoted and paid for by the taxpayer.
If we fail to elect a Ted Cruz or Scott Walker we are left with only article 5. If we do elect Ted Cruz or Scott Walker, history shows they will need article 5 when they discover a pile of Saul Alinsky's books in the basement of the White House.
We were afraid we had elected Malcolm X. It’s worse - we elected Ellsworth Toohey.
After the "Republican Revolution" in 1994, Newt Gingrich called attention to this liberal infrastructure -- which existed both within government and outside it (various NGOs and non-profits).
Gingrich identified the dismantling of this infrastructure as a vital task for the new Republican Congress.
And, then...nothing happened. The National Endowment for the Arts was left intact. The Public Broadcasting Corp continued to be funded. Planned Parenthood, the Sierra Club and ACLU, etc. all maintained their incestuous relationship with the Democrat party and the federal government.
Gingrich's efforts were totally stymied. Big Bird was "too important" for the free market...
