Shoebat is the one person in the world that would make me rethink my position. In this case, he really doesn’t have to. If Cruz falters, it is Trump, and no-one else.

I fear his joining the Republican party is situational; he’s given a lot of money to Democrats. He is harder on Republicans than the Democrats are breaking Ronald Reagan’s 11th Commandment. In sum, I fear Trump runs as much for vanity as for fighting for the American people. Having said that I’d still support him over any Democrat any day.

Marco Rubio... called the comments “not just offensive and inaccurate, but also divisive”.

"Divisive." Right out of the liberal playbook.

At least Trump is getting the RINOs to come out of the closet.

I sincerely doubt that Trump is the only candidate who will do this, Cruz certainly has shown backbone and a willingness to fight for Americans. Heck, most of the Republican field has shown at least a minor claim on that.

What they have been unwilling (or unable) to do is to name one of the prime problems in our society, that of illegals who have no interest in becoming citizens who are abusing the insanity of liberals and committing gross criminal acts or, really, for the long run, committing the far worse crime of stealing jobs that Americans desperately need.

Do I trust Trump in the slightest at this point? No. But thankfully he’s moving the conversation towards what needs to be asked and answered, and the most frightening part is how many of the GOP are answering ‘Yep, those are protected people who get to commit crimes without end for whatever end they please, and while they’re at it, could they illegally vote for Republicans?

The most common victim of the crimes of illegal aliens are legal Hispanic residents who can vote. You’d think that Trump and Cruz would not be the lone voices representing this electorate block.

Who woulda thunk campaigning to American citizens would resonate with American citizens.

he sure is making most of them look like simpering cowards, isn’t he?

except for Cruz, the rest of them either look desperate to say whatever CNN/MSNBC/Univision wants them to say or are trying to hide in the corner and escape notice until this phony scandal about Trump’s comments die down.

don’t get me wrong, Trump would be a disaster as the GOP candidate in a general election, but maybe these whimpy RINOs can learn a thing or two from him now so they won’t be shrinking violets in the national election.

keep it up Donald! don’t forget to remind the country how we have basically turned our economy over to the giant banks and the chicoms while you’re at it.

There’s no “H” in Rino unless you’re referring to the animal. Now why doesn’t he know that?

The American people think the RINOs are the roadside accident. Open borders. Funding Obamacare. Tyrannical Trade Agreements. etc.

Republican RINOS wee their panties at the first sign of an actual principal. No surprise here.

NOPE, NOPE, NOPE!

Correction:

Republicans wee their panties at the first sign of an actual principal. Unlike Democratic Socialists who's only "principal" is power. At least they know what they want.

I’ve no idea what’s going to happen, but if Republicans end up nominating another RINO, I hope Trump runs as an independent just so I can stick it to the GOP.

Cruz and Trump are talking about saving America while the GOPe is only concerned about not hurting the party's "brand".

It never occurs to the jebs and roves that perhaps Americans are just tired of their surrender-monkey style equivocations and prevarications.

Trump is OUTING the leftists in our party, like Jeb, Christie, Rubio and many others. I like Cruz, but even Cruz couldn’t get that done.

If the only people left standing on our side in a few months are Trump, Cruz, and maybe Walker, I’ll be very happy - and I’ll take it from there.

One fight at a time. The first step is to get rid of the LOSERS that we keep having dumped on us...and Trump is doing that. If he turns on Cruz, then yes, I’ll think differently about him - but right now all is good.

Can you tell me how Trump isn’t a RINO? What is his stand on social issues, particularly abortion and homosexual marriage? How many Democrats has he helped elect?

Quite simply, we need a war president.

Not a foreign war. The war in question is domestic.

Trump is getting the same sort of reaction from the public that Perot did back in 1992.

Not saying that’s good or bad, but it feels much the same.

People are sick to death of politics and politicians, and when someone radically different comes along, they start to take notice.
