Republican voters have had it with sell-out, Congressional RINOs and GOP elites
Coach is Right ^ | 7/7/15 | Suzanne Eovaldi

Scalding comments on Free Republic’s thread about Congressional pay to play tactics are showing just how despised the GOP Rinos in Washington, D.C. really are. This very important sharing of a personal incident one observer just had gets to the heart of Congressional greed and corruption. “I was on a flight from D.C. to LAX yesterday, and my seat neighbor in first class was a D.C. lobbyist returning home from Washington. We had a THREE hour conversation that would make your hair stand on end. The verdict is that there is no two party system, and they’re all in private rooms together blowing cocaine and screwing thousand dollar hookers and (deleted). .” (1)

The theme of Congress prostituting itself for big dollars from special interest lobbyists is very strong throughout this thread. The next commenter takes umbrage with the obscene dollar amounts leaders like Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, John Boehner, John Cornyn, and Orin Hatch, Mike McCarthy, Marco Rubio, and Lindsey Graham picked up for passing the TPA ObamaTrade agenda. “Worthless bunch of RINO pukes that all should be put in public stocks in front of Capitol for all to throw rotten pooh at,” a commenter declared!

Listen to how this guy refuses to ever again donate to the Republican Party. “The last straw for me with the Republicans has been the aftermath of the 2014 election. I have always been supportive, made excuses, been optimistic; never again, we gave them everything they wanted…Governors all over the country. They have spit on the people every chance they had. The RNC called the other day and this time I answered the phone. They started with “will you support us by stopping the Obama agenda with a donation of $100. Won’t waste the time, but my response was... (2)

Divided we fall, ... UNITED we stand. The progressive/democrats do remain and stand together.

We Republicans divide and weaken our numbers to where we can not succeed.

I am republican/conservative and we must come together in support of these values or fail.

A third party while desirable will not succeed. God bless America.

It only divides our base further. MOO

If you share values with the GOP then you really need a new set of values. There are maybe 5 left worth supporting.

Sure. If there's someone we can vote FOR. Got anyone in mind?

What if the candidate is another progressive who calls himself a republican just to win? Then what?

We are not succeeding now.

We gave them control of Congress six months ago.

We’ve tried to ‘work within the party’ for years, if not decades.

Karl and the girls still make the rules of the game: heads we win, tails you lose.

It doesn’t matter who ‘gets in’. They won’t be able to buck the party bosses. As I alluded to before - we’ve been losing ground for 20 years and the game’s just about over. Sorry, I’ve about had a belly full of all of it.

Mitt Romney was our last vote for the lesser of two weasels.

Good point GG.

Given this information, which I believe is true, why would anyone who wants to do the right thing for America (like Trump, Cruz, and Walker) run as Republicans?

Surely they know better than us what goes on. I think they should just go third party - at least we have a chance. With the Republicans we have no chance. Regardless of who gets in.

We had an entire Congress controlled by Republicans who, btw, has more Constitutional power to make things right than the Executive Branch, but the anti-American left (fueled by drugs and hookers) still carried the day.

This is very discouraging.

Here in VA-7 we showed you all how it’s done. The weasel Eric Cantor was a sitting Majority Leader and we tossed him out on his weasel ass because he was about to betray us by passing that other weasel Rubberio’s amnesty bill last summer.

We the people have term limits in our hands if we just have the courage to throw the weasels out.

“...UNITED we stand”

Very true.

Let us be united in forming a formidable third party who is not beholden to the Uniparty in any way.

Our political structure does not lend itself to 3 parties. We just need to get rid of the RINO’s and guys like Cruz and Trump can shake things up.

““Of COURSE they’ll vote Republican, where ELSE are they gonna go?””

One sellout deserves another. We can always punish the eGOP for selling us out. That’s two votes down they’ll be. One they didn’t get, and one the other guy got. I mean, if the eGOP is going to act Democrat why not vote for the Democrat?

Ted Cruz on RINO leadership sellout......

That Tuesday lunch began with our leadership saying, “We’re asking every Republican senator here, to affirmatively consent to lower the threshold for Harry Reid to take up the debt ceiling, from 60 votes to 50 votes. And we were told, everyone of you should agree for two reasons.

Number one, if we do this, it will happen, and hallelujah, hallelujah, that’s what we want. We want trillions more in debt with no spending reforms, because we’re scared of this issue. We don’t want to have a political fight on this.

But number two, if we do this, the Democrats will have the votes to do it on their own, which means all of us Republicans can vote no. And we can go home and tell our constituents, we opposed the thing we just consented to allow happen.

Now, I was sitting there — to be honest, I hadn’t gone to lunch intending to pick a fight, but as I listened to that, I was astonished and I raised my hand, and I said, “There’s no universe in which I can consent to doing that. I spent two years campaigning across Texas, telling Texas, if you elect me, I’ll fight with every breath in my body to stop the out of control spending and debt that are bankrupting our kids and grandkids.”

If were to do that, I think it would be both dishonest and unfaithful to the men and women who elected me.

[I was lost when the GOP turned on Sarah Palin.]

Maybe Sarah is waiting in the wings to be the 3rd party candidate if needed.

If it comes down Yeb Bush vs Hillary, I’m going to hammer it home that Hillary is the lesser evil. She would have a harder time getting the very same things through Congress that would be passed for Yeb Bush.
