The False Flag of Humanity
Self | 7/1/15 | Me

The growing crescendo of outrage over confederate flags, a flawed American legacy and maligned monuments isn’t about hate or even racism for their embodiments exist in all facets of our society. No, this entire orchestrated cultural purge isn’t about addressing justice or protecting our fragile future from enduring embers of animosity. Otherwise, everyone would simply be held to the same standard of accountability and the results would speak for themselves: end of syndicated story. This casting call for immediate retribution is, however, unequivocally about shoving and reshaping America into a progressive mold of mass conformity: a soulless, dependent, unarmed, uninformed, unpatriotic populace of color-coded privilege and mindless futility. How else can a 150 year-old symbol, erected long after the arrival of slavery in the South, be any more divisive or offensive than thousands of race activists shouting "to hell with America", burning the national flag of their liberation and advocating the death of all white people under the media approved headline of “White Privilege”? It’s utter nonsense and a cataclysmic breach of critical thought. If today’s black Americans - those who never were, or personally knew, an actual slave - are still haunted by the ghost of slavery past, then why are they not also empowered and enlightened by the ghosts of those evangelical Christians and Republicans, the near 400,000 white men slain in battle, responsible for breaking the ruddy bonds of their subjugation? Delineating between friend and adversary, radicalism and liberty, is the difference between identifying those who are actually invested in your well-being and those who abandon logic and empathy to achieve an immoral end.

When the American flag or the Bible is disparaged in favor of the Gay flag and the Koran, the Communist Manifesto and Che Guevara championed in lieu of the Constitution and Thomas Jefferson, you’re no longer living in America or amidst rationale hearts; you’re in the fractured path of the same cultivated hate that exterminated 2 million Armenians, 6 million Jews, and 7 million Ukrainians. Yes, if I may, where is the left’s same deep-seeded outrage, engrained cultural sensitivity and higher sense of being when the bright lights of progressive opportunism suddenly spotlight their own fleeing hypocrisy? When the details are no longer of consequence, humanity is your false flag of betrayal, neither are the names of your victims. Forgive me if I refuse to be assigned a number and labeled a “free speech” terrorist by those who neither have the authority or moral clarity to revoke my dignity, the God-given charter of my country, beneath the hijacked rainbow of divine creation.

Hear! Hear!

We live in la-la land. I never thought about that phrase before this evening--la la land. I suppose this means I dwelt there a bit, too.

There is no truth to be spoken. A Chaplin can't tell the truth, the truth can't be told on unemployment, the truth can't be told on finances. We can't tell the truth on a vengeful president.

It's fingers in the ears screaming LA-LA-LA-LA. All is perfect-- you're okay and I'm okay-- when NOTHING is okay. NOTHING.

A rich and talented man is given an award because he succumbs to his mental demons and we pity a newsman who lies and makes up stories.

Is it also okay for a doctor to to pretend one illness is another, make-up an illness? I guess so, because a doctor tells the truth and loses his job.

We have lost standards. We have none and are penalized if we try to hold fast to them . It's all down hill from here.

Unless...taking a page from the Cruz Dr. Seuss lessons--- “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It's not.”
