An extreme leftist organization has issued what critics contend is a starter kit for jihadists and a hit list that paints a target on the backs of a dozen high-profile women who are outspoken in their opposition to jihad and Shariah law.
The list, which includes unflattering sketches of the ladies it vilifies, is titled Women Against Islam and was compiled by Mark Potok and Janet Smith of the Southern Poverty Law Center, or SPLC.
Upon learning of her inclusion on SPLCs newest list, columnist and prolific author Ann Coulter was delighted.
Its an honor just to be nominated for the SPLCs list of conservative women who speak out against radical Islam! Coulter told WND.
Likewise, Cathy Hinners, blogger at DailyRollCall.com and also a SPLC target, told WND she is pleased to be listed alongside the other fearless women.
I certainly didnt expect something like that, but Im very proud, Hinners said. I think the other 11 women are certainly professional and well established. I look at them as patriots and warriors.
Cathy Adams, president of Texas Eagle Forum, was also featured.
I think the SPLC list isnt as important as theyd like it to be, she told WND. It surprises me that theyd choose me so far down the list of others doing much more to sound the alarm against radicals.
In addition to highlighting Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative and WND columnist, in their list, Potok and Smith describe her as the countrys most flamboyant and visible Muslim-basher and a professional provocateur with a long and infamous record of smearing and demonizing Muslims.

Totalitarians bullying the women? War on women? Who’da thunk it?
The SPLC are terrorists. No different than ISIS.
“infamous record of smearing and demonizing Muslims.
So that’s what they call telling the truth eh?
Just curious, how many of these women are supporters of Hillary Clinton?
CAIR, ISIS, Boko Haram do a plenty good job of vilifying Islam. I have arab neighbors who seem to be good people, not like the nuts in the above organizations, and certainly not like SPLC.
Coulters right. They should be proud to be included on that list. At lest they have the b.. intestinal fortitude to oppose an oppressive and backward credo.
Ann Barnhardt’s on the list.
Here’s her response:

Definitely assisting in the promotion of radical leftist propaganda. All the leftist organizations are not peacekeepers. They are agitators that are trying to start a war.
I see no downside to terrorists targeting Women who work in the mainstream media. This is a case of our enemies fighting each other, and you can only hope they can destroy as many of each other as possible.
SPLC is making terrorist threats.
No one needs to bash Muslims... THEY do enough making THEMSELVES look bad!
Go back and actually READ the article.
If we had a real, live Justice Department, the SPLC would have been prosecuted for RICO law violations years ago. Now, with the president having just put every American’s head literally on the chopping block (paying off terrorists for kidnapping Americans is OK now), we shouldn’t be surprised that the Left has upped the ante. It’s the Overton Window effect. “O” believes that the U.S. is evil and should be excluded from all interactions with foreign countries. Therefore, he wants us, as individuals, to continue to retract our operational radius out of fear. It’s very much in line with his other dictates on controlling the population.
Well, they were able to get someone to shoot up the Family Research counsel. I imagine that was a victory for them which they now hope to repeat.
Yes, they are targeting conservative women, but my point still stands that I wouldn't mind it if they were targeting Liberal women.
Where's Whoopi's mouth?
