ESPN Radio Host: "It is White Peoples Responsibility to Fix Racism"
The Social Memo ^ | 6/22/15 | Aurelius

ESPN radio host and TV commentator Bomani Jones wrote in a series of emotional messages on Twitter yesterday that "it is white people's responsibility to fix racism" and that white people need to think about their "complicity in the racism of America."

In the tweets, which were first reported by the Social Memo, Jones called out "white supremacy" and "privilege," while also saying that liberals and conservatives are part of that structure, if they're white.

Over the course of a few hours, Jones went from analyzing racism in the United States to telling white people that they need to analyze their "complicity" in racism.

First, he wrote that his humanity was being "ignored" because he is African American:

Later, he wrote that "all white people" need to "consider their complicity in the racism of America:"

...Jones then claimed "it is white people's responsibility to fix racism:"

Next, Jones corrected people's grammar, while also making grammatical errors:

Hey, dip$hit, my kids weren’t born until about 40 years after the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act became the law of the land, and they are STILL going to be victimized by “affirmative action” (which is just another phrase that justifies continued preferential treatment of some in our society BASED ON THEIR RACE). Tell me - TO MY FACE - that my kids had ANYTHING to do with racial discrimination in this country. Go ahead, tough guy, I dare you!

I was 3 years old when those acts were passed - so I had nothing to do with this country’s racism. In fact, I’m very much in favor of this country being a pure meritocracy - those who deserve things that are the subject of competition SHOULD BE those who are most qualified, REGARDLESS OF RACE, RELIGION, OR ANY OTHER IRRELEVANT FACTOR. I’m not so worried about it for myself - I got into schools and got jobs, and don’t need to apply for anything competitive at this point in my life.

No one in my family immigrated to our shores until 1887, 22 years after slavery ended, and most not until the 1910s and 1920s, after which time virtually all of them were subject to discrimination because of their religion.

But you know what, even if ALL of my ancestors were nasty and abusive slave owners, and those that came later invented and enforced Jim Crow laws...I didn’t and neither did my kids. WHAT ON EARTH JUSTIFIES REVERSE RACISM DECADES OR MORE AFTER THE FACT??????

This kind of offal is exactly why racial tensions are rising and have done so since the present jerk moved into the White House - because most (CERTAINLY NOT all) blacks aren’t standing on their own 2 feet and working to better their lives, and the so-called leader of this country continues to justify and back such behavior. I cannot imagine how embarrassed and ashamed I would be if I was Black because of this situation and this so-called President.

And yet we aren’t to blame all Muslims for terrorism.

“it is white people’s responsibility to fix racism”

This headline should read “White People Should Become Thought Police.”

Who is this overstuffed pile of crap to tell me I have to do anything. The pure sense of entitlement given to people because of their color is sickening. I am not required to even look their way if I don't want to. You leave me alone and I'll leave you alone. When will the silly hallucination of the last five decades be over? I don't even take any crap from people with who I have a connection.

Next I'll have to read another post from some sanctimonious prick about how there are racist posters on Free Republic. They also can take their cultural marxist inventions and stick em.

Why?

I choose for it not to be my responsibility. I have no responsibility under law to think anything about race. I don't even spend much time thinking about my inability to get a good job in the local steel mill because I was neither female nor black. I got another easier, safer and less carcinogenic job where I was again last on every list. Didn't affect me. I gave to the organization what it gave to me, services for payment.

My only thoughts about race are based on what Dinesh D'Souza calls "rational discrimination". I can read Justice Department crime stats and know when to cross the street.

Well, that’s my point. Everyone needs to just stop thinking so much about it and treat everyone the same. Period. Are there still racists? Yes … of every color. I wish they’d all just stop thinking so much about it, but the media doesn’t help the situation much.

“I thought whites weren’t qualified to discuss racism? If they can’t talk about it, how can they fix it?”

I heard we aren’t allowed to say we’re not racist any more. For me to think of person without color is racist in itself. (any one who feels this way can pucker up on one of my butt cheeks)

The left is proving it is a mental disorder before our very eyes. They are going to implode soon. They must see a new conservative wave coming.
