And posting to white supremacists sites, one suspects. My eldest son learned to write coherently by posting to gamer and other fan sites; I would guess that white supremacist sites would have at least the same number of Grammar Nazis.

Everyone here on FR, good people, also saw the hypocrisy in the media’s coverage of the Trayvon case. All media glorified this “innocent little boy” who was a huge, muscled, drug popping, fighting thug in real life. Not a criminal, but on his way, with truly ugly attitude. Clearly he responded with a dangerous aggression to Zimmerman’s Pretend Cop attitude.
Yet the media never dared say the truth. Many here also came to the conclusion, same as this church killer, that the media were sooooo racist that they didn’t dare tell the truth that this punk acted in a way that begged for him to be shot. He acted murderously when civility was called for. ( A decent “I’m just going to my dads house at 23 Main St” would have prevented his death; what about young black thug culture might be contributing to black families losing their “babies” to murder??)
The killer was warped enough to go all Hitler on this problem when his acts were so much worse than the racism of low expectations in our media.
But the racism we see in all these recent dishonest portrayals of thugs who do what it takes to be killed sits poorly with anyone who is not racist. Ironically. It takes looking only at the actions of the Trayvon types to see that their deaths were due to their behavior. Especially the one who stole the sweet cigars and wrestled with the cop in his patrol car for the gun. Forget color: look only at behavior.
Not one media discussion about how to behave when confronted by all authority, even just a neighborhood watch guy. We won’t dare to correct the behavior of these kids who need to learn civilization.
This media omission could lead to more deaths. From cop shootings as well as from sickos who see the truth and want to fix it in a racist way.
Of course the solution sought by this evil idiot was dubious. Though I suggest “dubious” is putting it too calmly.
My point is that whether the issue he was exercised about is true is a relevant point.
Weird that such sites seem to be totally banned here, while there are plenty of posts from Salon and Slate telling us that conservatives are garbage.
The rate of rape in this country dropped by over 85% from 1979 to 2005. And I believe has dropped further since.

Rape, of course, is probably under-reported, but it certainly seems unlikely that there was less stigma in 1979 than today.

Oh Dear. I should have attributed that source which was from one of the many talk shows I monitor but forgotten who. They might have had a subsitute for that day but I think it was Ingraham. Incidentally I did not hear that repeated from other regular talk hosts; Limbaugh, Ingraham, and Levin and wondered why . Your correction explains why.
