Mmm, M Uu Sure Elon.
Rab
Yes. He is nothing more than a high tech swindler. Wait till his tube transport project falls on its face. Sure the Tesla is a beautiful car, but I would not buy the stock if you paid me. Mark my words.
Is Jeb Bush a complete Dunce?
Yes, Yes he is.
Fine. Then he should return the money we the people gave him.
I do agree with him about not having to use dealers to sell the cars.
Wasn't he demanding $5 billion for his "Gigafactory"?
Yes. He is nothing more than a high tech swindler.
...
That so called swindler has already greatly reduced launch costs and plans to reduce them even more, which will save taxpayers and other customers a great deal of money.
Eventually, he plans to do the same with electric cars and is the reason he’s building the gigafactory. Sure, people can knock him for the subsidies, but he’s done so much more that is line with what Conservatives like.
Wasn’t he demanding $5 billion for his “Gigafactory”?
...
I don’t know what he was demanding, but shouldn’t he get the best deal possible?
He’s had great success in manufacturing his own rocket parts, when suppliers tried to jack up prices. Now he’s going to do the same with battery packs.
Wait till his tube transport project falls on its face.

How much do you know about it? It’s claimed to be better and cost less. Musk is the visionary behind Hyperloop, but it is being run by other people.
That is OK but just wait a while. You shall know them by their works. So far he has borrowed more thane he has been subject to. I will give him a chance but I strongly feel he is biting off way too much.
I view him as a great capitalist. Which capitalist don’t take advantage of the rules/laws of the land they operate in
The best possible deal is for him to pay for his own stuff
He break into existing long established market and bring down the price of everything. I rather tax payers pay for Elon’s services than tax dollars going into government run or establishment corporations who overcharge tax payers. I rather we pay Elon than NASA or Boeing. Not only does Elon provide a better good/service he could also sell them at a cheaper price
The “great capitalists” in this country are small business owners; they provide jobs and great products and services without bilking taxpayers for the privilege.
He’s a creep. He’d make a good Bond villain.
“I do agree with him about not having to use dealers to sell the cars.”
And, unlike 95% of the stuff the government spends money on, we have something to show for it. What he did would probably have cost NASA 5x as much. He seems to have surrounded himself with some pretty smart people with new ideas. Much, much more has been spent on things that have actually harmed and not helped.
“The great capitalists in this country are small business owners; they provide jobs and great products and services without bilking taxpayers for the privilege.”
True, but they aren’t going to build cheap space rockets or feasible alternative power systems in the warehouse behind the strip mall.
Politics aside, he reminds me a little of a modern Henry Kaiser. Big things take big risks. He built some ships that sank (electrical welding was high-tech in WWII and took a learning curve to get right) but he also built a LOT of ships that floated very well, and also the Hoover Dam, under budget and ahead of schedule, with new ideas.
He's a really smart guy who's gaming the system with a nudge and a wink - "working within the system" because if he goes straight for what he really wants, someone bigger will be sure to step on him. If you want to blame someone, blame all the morons who're passing out the cash. They're ones who should have had better judgement. By vilifying Musk you're just ennobling the true criminals who stole that money in the first place on the grounds that left to our own devices, we are supposedly too foolish to spend it wisely.
